the worst thing a professional band can do after being introduced on stage is to fool around with chords and pedals and mic stands and look at each other as if they all just woke up from a long nap and don't have their wits about them yet. All of those instruments should have been on stage already, pluged in and tested by the sound crew. Once the band walks out on stage someone needs to greet the audience, welcome them and make eye contact while the others do whatever needs to be done (as little as possible) before they play the first song. When the band takes 3 minutes to fool around before even saying good evening, their showing a great disrespect for their audience who paid good hard-earned money to be there.
