Hay looks like a cool ride, cheers for taking us along. Am looking at going in there soon and stumbled across ya vid. Is there a little camp area at the end of the track. And can u take 4x4 in to where u started? Thinking that was footage on the way out. Any info be appreciated cheers.
@@blakecollings9544 Hi Blake, thanks for the feedback. You are right, I only started filming on the way out from the picnic table area at the start of the walking tracks. Someone had made a fire pit there so they might have camped. On the way in you pass through a private gate which you are allowed to but must respect their property. When you get to the junction of Ellis River Road you cross the river then hang right. You’ll need a high clearance 4wd as some of the ruts are deep and uneven from people mud plugging when wet but there was an old farm ute going in that day and it was bone dry so all good. There are gold claims up there that they still use. If there’s someone in the tractor cafe that you pass on the gravel road in, they might be able to tell you more about the accessibility etc.
Greetings from Minnesota-tried to squash the like button and it wouldn’t up count
