Practicing The Throw on D Part 8
มุมมอง 955 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is the eighth video for practicing the Throw on D. Playing through the scale. In this video, I play the Throw on D as close as close to how one would normally play this movement. I do however keep the movement slightly open, so one can hear each part of the movement. The beat should land on the first D in the movement.

มุมมอง 455 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is the Sixth video for practicing the Throw on D. In this video, I play through the scale using the same method as the prievious video. The most important part of the Throw on D is the Low G. Therefore the LG part of the Throw on D gets its own beat. As the tempo increases, the LG part will get shorter.

Can you do a tutorial?
good luck in g1
Thank u
Danke Peter!
Thanks for sharing, sir. I can play the E doubling fine most of the time on the practise chanter but when I’m on my pipes squeezing the bag, my middle finger is often too stiff to move and I can’t fire the E doubling. You got any tips for that? Thanks!
I am glad you like the video, there will be more in the future! Try to have the bag as high up in the armpit as possible. If your fingers are stiff when playing, it is probably because the bag is sitting too low under your arm. You will find that the instrument is easier to play too!
@@peterrcrowemusic that's a really good advice. I'll definitely mind the bag's position. Thanks so much! Your tutorials are great!
Thank you
You're welcome!
What instrument is this?
It is called a Practice Chanter. Bagpipers use this to practice the music/fingerwork. You would be given this before getting a set of bagpipes.
Cool! Thank you!
Mega, danke schön 🤗
🔥🔥🔥

Awesome!
Das bringt so viel. Deine Videos sind Goldwert 🥇Danke Peter
Toller Tune! Den würde ich gerne als nächstes lernen 😊
