I'm surprised to find 168 subscribers today! Those days of the Lockdowns, shut ins and food scarcity seem so unreal today. Yet we were locked down for two or three years... and this recollection of my dearest uncle who was a La Salle brother all his life descended like a saint in white clothes on his hospital visits to the ill and dying. He was cheerful, hopeful of goodnesses coming to one and spoke gently of the love of god for his son Jesus who has the power to heal and answer one's prayers. He encouraged the chanting of the Hail Mary rosary to protect one and all loved ones from the negative things that harm us. I saw a lot of my uncle when I was in year 6 to Sec 3. Unfortunately, I only read about my cousin, Catherine in the school magazine - that she died for god and that there was a storm when she died. Due to the sacrifice Catherine had made for god and the fact that there was a storm when she died , she would be beautified in time and be made a saint. She was locked in her room and fed with food and
