We enjoyed wonderful fellowship and a delicious lunch with our new church friends that the Lord has given us.
I've hosted for several decades and I absolutely love it. I typically start getting everything prepped the night before. For myself, that's best, just so that I can enjoy the day of the gathering, and a little easier, when our guests are here.🤩
I shot a shorter video, for memories and for reminders for me for next time. Take any ideas from my video and use them. The coffee bar set up helped immensely. Last time I had the perigee in the kitchen. This time I had it face the living area.
We also moved from a large farmhouse in vacaville to a smaller place in the forest/ mountains of Santa cruz. I had to make changes and get rid of my farm table. That's quite alright. I love the smaller home. But I had to figure out where to seat guests. We brought out our folding table and chairs and added my white table cloth. Simple yet beautiful. We enjoyed our friends and that's what matters. Nothing is ever going to be perfect. Simply enjoy the day, the breath that God has given us.
