your voice is so sweet and flowy 🤍. also could you please write a song about this: so i dated my ex for like 5 months and then we broke up because they said that we were two different people and it just wasnt working and i totally agree with them. but other things were happening in my life at the moment so i kinda spiralled because of all that, not just the breakup ( i was actually pretty chill about it like i was smiling and great and they didnt even show up the next day cz apprently they were so sad they felt a bit sick so yea that made me feel bad but it kinds felt like being let out of a golden cage) anyways i moved countries but we would occasionally text but then after a year since we broke up, they reach out and theyre like, i feel so selfish for askign this cz YOU TOOK THE BREAKUP HARDER (um what?) but IM NOT OVER THE RELATIONSHIP. like they said theyre over me but not the relationship. like they missed certain things about me and the relationship but were over me... how does that work?? and so they basically wanted closure and wanted to talk to me about it cz they thought talking to me would help them understand and process it more. also they still felt like they owed me loyalty.. which is sweet but why would you think that? and also, the relationship was all disney princess vibes and i felt so special and we enjoyed talking to each other but we both saw that sometimes things were too awkward and we would try to avoid each other so i totally saw it coming like it made sense. so i kept sayign no dont feel bad its a mutual decision like i get it too but they never understood that i was on board. there was definitely some misunderstandings and we were tryna work our way through this but things change unexpectedly sometimes. they thought they knew everything about themselves but the thing is were all figuring ourselves out. like this was a weird relationship but it was still nice and i still appreciate that person. anyways that time they reached out after a year, they basically wanted validation ig and i was like "no its totally not your fault i saw that things were off and a break up made sense and like im moving on too (cz they thiught i wasnt moving on as fast as them) and its ok, dont blame yourself" and apparently that made them feel better so yea. and we havent spoken in a while which i am good with. wheww im so sorry this was so long lmao but i would really like a song to relate to about this and you have such a pretty way of telling stories and i love your voice emily! hope you can write about this 🤍
