Ok … my first thought was: Ridiculous! 😩🖕🤬🖕 I thought I was mad at Trouba for putting his selfishness before this Ranger team but this Igor move is not only beyond that & TOTALLY insulting but a COMPLETE slap in the face! I mean I heard he didn’t even consider it. Basically just spit on it.😩🤬 If all he cares about is the market,that speaks VOLUMES about this guy and it is not good. ZERO dedication to this team that gave him his career! I mean look at what Crosby did/took for his commitment to the team that gave him his start! BUT… as it started to settle I realized… I’ve been saying this for years!!!😓 Igor saw what Hank went through and if we didn’t fix the problems that were completely exposed when Igor wasn’t 💯, he would realize he was going down Hanks road and want to bail! That we would lose him!! Maybe that ECF last year made him realize this and he doesn’t want to be here anymore. I can tell you that Drury’s decision to basically run it back again with the same core that hasn’t gotten it done the past several seasons definitely didn’t help! So, in a way, as I’ve been predicting, there’s a part of me that can’t blame him and rejecting this may be his way out to a better contending team. Be that as it may, this shows us ALL two things and two things ONLY: 1. This is our LAST shot at getting the Cup with a top tier goaltender. (Also must remember there’s basically no more Benoit Allaire) AND.. 2. There’s NO WAY that we can satisfy Shesty with his demands (under the cap) and then create any type of competitive team that is Cup worthy sooo I’d say ( after this season)…. GOODBYE Igor!

I'm not a habs fan, and I think their going to be a tough team to play against. No question! If Laine can be healthy, these guys are going to be good

If everyone performs as expected and we see some players perform above expectations I can see the Habs competing for a playoff spot.

How about do a podcast of a mock draft for people to see how to do it

Caufield for Matthews? Clown league. That's vetoed 100% of the time in my league, and any respectable league really. So ironic that the video is about making "fair" trades. It would take Caufield plus another star, maybe even superstar. Like Kyle Connor, Hintz, Letang for example and probably a draft pick or something. Mathews is a top 3 fantasy player for goodness sake.

With cases rising, if the NHL shuts down, I agree with the decision. This new variant has been spreading, and has affected even fully vaccinated people. You have to look out for your players and staff, they have wives and kids, you don't want them going back home sick. The health and safety of our players and staff is most important.

I like how Vegas operates, they remind me of a KHL team. They just don't care about prospects, if you have any value on the market that'll get them a player that can help them now, you're gone. They won't even think twice. I like that, that's bold. And so far, it's worked.
