Good, but you never mentioned ISO ????
Thanks so much for the helpful tips. Just got myself a 645 1000s body to go with my dad’s old lenses, can’t wait to get started! But need a cable release first…!
Canon AT- 1 all the way. Or Canon FTb. 11-26-24 TU
i like it so far
This app is a SCAM! You can pay for a 1 year subscription, but after several months they will take away all your PRO features and say that your subscription has ended (even though Play Market will show that it is valid for several more months). They will ignore all proof and demand to pay again for the subscription even though you have already paid for it. The "support" is non-existent and blatantly fraudulent.
Very useful info I totally agree
crazy, for $130 you can just get an old school point and shoot ("digicam") from early 2000's
Definitely options out there Great Video. ❤
if you are watching this lock your shutter first if you have film in it.
Photo Flo is a product strictly for black and white film only. Reason for this is that it lacks the andimicrobial agent which prevents mold and bacteria growing in the emulsion of color film. The final wash used for color film is similar surfactant as Photo Flo, but with the added antimicrobial agent. Black and white film doesn´t need it, as silver will keep mold out. But in color film, the silver is bleached out, and only dyes remain. Mold and bacteria will grow very well in gelatin - this is the way they are grown in labs.
Thank you. Starting up my darkroom after 30 years. My Nikons, developing tanks, chemicals, and Omega B-22 and I are all getting together again
Is the outer casing really paper..?? I'd get so nervous shooting outside, what if it rains? The inside electronic parts would just get wet..? I'm not really getting it 🤔 But thanks so much for this review!!
🎯 Key points for quick navigation: 📸 The Paper Shoot camera is a novelty digital camera made from eco-friendly materials. 🎁 It features interchangeable skins for customization, resembling retro camera designs. 🔋 Requires two AAA batteries and supports basic photography features like video and time-lapse. 🖼️ The viewfinder doesn't accurately represent the final image frame, causing unexpected compositions. 🌈 Offers preset filter modes with varying results, such as impressive black and white but less appealing blue tones. 💧 Not waterproof; exposure to moisture could damage internal electronics due to its paper construction. 🎉 Despite its fun and unique design, it's more suitable as a casual, entry-level camera rather than for professional use. 📱 Comparable to using a smartphone for photography, it provides a quick and easy point-and-shoot experience. Ight bet getting the 50mm lens in the morning
I was genuinely blow away by how good the image quality is.
It's kind of like a cheaper and simpler version of my Lomo LC-Wide which has the same small viewfinder issue. But I'm totally used to guestimating the ratios by now though. I enjoy the challenge. So this little guy is a really good cheap alternative to take with me. Leaving the €399 camera at home. I'm definitely getting one and I'll be looking for deals on second hand ones too. I totally agree that the flimsy winder is really disappointing though. It's such a cheap and easy fix. But it would be a major upgrade
My Dear, PhotoMeLarry; Thank you for this fine video. I really like how you come across on this video, so, Cool. I love it. I just got my very first medium format camera and yes it is a Mamiya 645 1000's. I love it and I;m still on my first roll. I do wish you would have touched a little on the self-timer though. I have had some trouble in that department, sorry to say. Your video has been so, Helpful to me and I'm sure to many others as well. Thank you so, much. God Bless you. Roger.
Hi man I love your video and your energy! I just have a quick question: Can you still add a lens hood even if you've already put the cinebloom filter on your lens?
How is it eco friendly , when it only does camera and i guarantee it wont last a year When our device last 5+ years nowdays has better camera Eco friendly bullshit
Thank you for this video. Even though I've seen it was 3 years ago, I just ordered a prime lens. I wanted a zoom or macro lens originally. I was trying to find out what the difference was. Then I learned the one that I did order is called a prime lens which now I feel like I would like all 3 I don't know if I would need all 3. Feel free to chime in if you want to, but I am happy after watching your video that I have this prime lens coming. I pick it up this Friday and I really like your information here. Thank you again for this video..
great review brotherrr!
Where is the content from the title? Seriously I didn't come here to listen about everything else in your life. No disrespect though, peace.
At 2:30 that looks just like what my very old kit lens started doing. The aperture blades were jammed at wide open or it had a faulty aperture lead cable inside the lens. Unless I used aperture mode set to wide open every shot would look like the reeds - way over exposed. If I used the green auto mode every photo would be over exposed like this or worse.
Thank you for helping me avoid my impulse purchases.
their north american division split from their main founder division in taiwan. the North america is now called cappycam and they're releasing their version in a few months
Well you're wrong, but you aren't wrong. I would not recommend it as a first film camera, but I absolutely would recommend it as a first SLR. I'm biased as I only started using digital cameras as an adult after my AE-1P was stolen. For anyone who has already learned how to use a digital SLR, the the AE-1P is a perfect introduction to film. It's easy to use, and allows the photographer who is used to fully automatic exposure to gradually learn how to shoot film entirely manually.
I would say the comparison is drastic, but only because of the camera settings. In half of the comparisons, the exposure was different and sometimes one was extremely blurry. I'd suggest keeping the camera settings the same next time for a better comparison outcome.
Any way to use this on paper slides ? Maybe just dabbing it?
Got mine from a co-worker from a junk removal job, and it's amazing!
I have this same setup with the 50 mm lens but it's not SDM and I have the kit lens but the kit lens doesn't have image stabilization, and I use them both. I have the 50 mm lens but not the STM version and it gives me an 80 mm field of view with this camera and that's just too tight. So I use the kit lens more than the 50.
I really liked the b&w photos
thank you for the review! do you know if there is any camera that's similar to this but better?
Listen you too are proving that you can create amazing photos with any camera! The T7 such a basic little camera, but with a good lens and someone like yourself who knows what he’s doing you can churn out beautiful professional photos. Well done
The film sims for the Tri X and Polaroid films are some of the best iPhone film sims I’ve seen, but there are two deal breakers. The simulated viewfinders are tiny and hard to compose with. Also, at that price and they don’t even create new content for the app.
Thank you so much. Very helpful.
Thank you for the video. I just bought my first MF camera, a Mamiya 645 and this gave me a leg up on getting shooting.
18ml of photo flo + 18ml of water.. You would have 1 gallon of solution? Would you please help me understand? I would appreciate your help
There are tons of great used digital cameras available on eBay. This is a waste of money.
Pls send me the exif data of the refernce picture, i HIGHLY doubt it was taken by a camera with this sensor size.
I've been to their website & had thought I understood the concept. I guess I didn't. Now I know why they call it Paper Shoot. Interesting concept. Thanks for uploading.
I love this camera, I just got it, and I don’t find the viewfinder/focal length an issue. I think the price is worth the value, and I am so happy to have a camera that is light and simple without having to pull out my phone. Also I do love the fact that I can’t see the final photo, and it brought back that feeling of having to wait to develop film, as I just don’t know what I’ll get.
Good advice.
Very nice review. Thanks.
Is this the 16mo or 18mp?
I purchased a cannon EOS rebel t7 DSLR I got it for a steal on FB market place. I have the standard lens it came with 18-55 mm. I purchased a Feiyu SCORP 2 gimbal. Because I decided to transition from photography to videography. I want to shoot basketball videos. I understand now this may not be the ideal videography camera. But this is how and where I started before doing any research really. What lens could you recommend for me to use for better quality videos. I’ve been told a prime lens may be the best route to go
Excellent. Point... Sensor tech these days is pretty darn good. Dont believe the hype. Take ur time and learn, most of all have fun.
