Automated cell counting with the Mateo FL Digital Fluorescence Microscope
Obtain a swift and accurate cell count with just a few clicks on your Mateo FL and forget about tedious manual counting.
Place your sample on the stage.
Now select your desired channel. You can choose between “Phase Contrast” for the transmitted light option or one of the fluorescent channels.
Now use the focus knob to adjust the focus, as well as the object guide to select the desired field of view.
Once you are happy with your selection, simply click on “AI module” and go to “Cell Counting”.
Measure the diameter of your cells manually or automatically. And few seconds later you get
your cell count.

      Hi there! On the bottom of the menu on the left, under "Movie Editor" it should allow you to save in different formats.

      You can use Sensaphone to set up an alert system. It connects to the output port at the back of the EM TP and sends an alert when the processor gives an error. You can set it up to send texts, voice and emal messages to a list of people. It will not tell you what the error is, so we also set up a webcam so if we are out of the lab we can see the screen and see what the error is and what step it is on.

We can provide a more detailed answer, depending on your specific device (Enersight compatible stand or only Enersight compatible camera).     Ok, but like what is an easy way to re-save those individual image files as tifs? I don't know why Leica forces our images to be compiled into a .lif in the first place; it just causes unnecessary work

I am going to do time-lapse imaging (follow for 3 days) but I have no idea about the flow rate of water (from water pump for the objective 63X). Unfortunately, I could not find any sources to solve my problem. I wonder if you could please tell me the appropriate flow rate. Thanks!

    Hi there.. focusing could be done through microscope only or it could be done in these settings area while projecting and capturing the image?

      Hi, focusing can done through both the eyepieces as well as on the monitor through the software. We recommend that, for setting up Z-stacks, a live preview in LAS X is used, in case there is any discrepancy between the focus through the eyepieces versus the camera.

    Hello, I was wondering what can be done when the following message appears as you press the RFC button: Switch to z-wide and deactivate sequencer board to apply relative focus correction or activate the advance sequencer board. This message just appear and the window you have in the video is not popping up. Thanks!

      Hi Raquel - go to the Project Settings Window and uncheck the Advanced Sequencer option. Then you should be able to use RFC.
