G’day guys, welcome to another FrAussie Adventure! In this episode, we head to one of our favourite places in the world, K’Gari (Fraser Island) and take on two near-impossible challenges: crossing the infamous Ngkala Rocks with a camper trailer, and escaping the crowds in the peak of school-holidays to find the most beautiful and isolated campsites the island has to offer. SPOILER ALERT….one of those goals goes according to plan, we’ll let you guess which! This adventure is jam-packed with jaw-dropping scenery, frolicking wildlife (dingoes, rays, turtles - you name it), and of course plenty of fun!

Halfway through the video. Had to stop, comment and subscribe. Yas are brilliant. Also love the 60 series cruiser. I have an 80 series. The older landcruiser are incredible. Go just about anywhere. After watching this ill be heading out here for sure! Gold coast local i am so not too far for me. Great content!

Take what @Swoop142 had to say very seriously. That is rule number one when camping in Outback Australia. Never, ever, ever camp in a dry river bed. Come morning, you might not be here. On a side note. That 4x4 is in fantastic condition. Bloody nice and good vid.

You are not remote, also for your safety never camp in a river bed, you can see around you where the water has rushed through before not long ago, rain dosnt have to happen where you are to get flooded it could be miles away and flow down, safe travels

Cheers, we’ll take the advice onboard for sure. To be honest we were pretty desperate to find somewhere to set up camp before losing light because our first camping option fell through. We figured with it being the middle of the dry season we wouldn’t have a problem, but in hindsight and with the comments on here that we shouldn’t risk it. As for being remote, I guess that comes down to each person’s definition of remote 😉 We’ve been to remote remote places where members of the nearest local communities have told us we literally wouldn’t see another soul (hence we ALWAYS carry a sat phone) and then places just a little remote like some of these, where it’s just enough to not be anywhere near city centers and hardly come across any other people. We don’t discriminate - we love them all 😁👌

Great spot down there and a good spot to have a swim in in too at the Tooloom Bridge, I used to have a gold claim down there and still good gold to be got too, Awesome trip. Ever tried the Timbarra river area, just another hout south, camping straight on the river bank and the water is soooo clear. Cheers and Happy camping
It is absolutely such an amazing spot down there!!! No we haven’t tried the timbaraa river yet but from what you’re saying it’s definitely worth to check it out 👌🏽 Happy camping to you too !!
