I did get it running yes! Just took it out after I wanted to use the two wires that I ran to the back for a different project :D worked great! At least the basic version that I showed in the video. I sadly never really have the time to make it a full stand-alone unit with speed activation etc like I talked about. I have a lot of plans for these kind of projects with my other car so I might add it to that again and do a more detailed video on that! c:

@@MIsterISmiley Im eingepackten Zustand glaube ich nicht. Die Fäher in dem Auto haben schon etwas Stauraum, aber sind immer sehr unförmig :D Ich denke einzeln passen sicher einige Flaschen in die Fächer

@PlaneTMRS alles klar dann wäre dann ne Dachbox auf dem Hardtop oder ein Gepäckträger eine Option nen Zzw30 als daily zu nutzen. Ich hab nen Projekt geplant einen Restomod zu machen aus dem MRS und bin aktuell in der Planungsphase. Ich schau dir weiterhin zu um zu sehen was du alles anstellst. Falls du irgendwas planst, kannst du mir gerne Bescheid geben.

@@PlaneTMRS Hast du mal probiert die Fächer ab zu machen? Hab von vielen gehört, dass das definitiv helfen soll mit Stauraum 👍

I put the whole setup of the car in the description! The main changes are TRD sportivo shocks and front swaybar, rear one is Cusco. The engine is mainly stock except for the k&n airfilter insert and a piggy back Ecu for some VVTi changes in the midrange. :D Biggest plus point are the tires though, 205 square make this care not so understeery and great to drive 👍🏼

My roofs have always been great with no leaks luckily :D and yes, they sometimes do frost up but with the heater that’s luckily solved pretty easily, so just like every other car, scrape before you go and drive :D on really bad days they tend to freeze from the inside too, but only over night and once the heat is turned on it all comes off super quickly since it’s only some frozen condensation anyways :D Happy driving man, it’s a fun car!!

Sadly I don’t have a oil pressure gauge so I can’t tell you that but for temperatures, for normal driving it should go around 90°C but it can also reach 110°C to 120°C for very hard or fast highway driving.

Hey thank you for your interest! It’s about 4mm thick so it fits exactly in the same tabs as the factory shift boot. Sadly I can’t promise you if it’s gonna work or not with your setup but I am confident it can. Raising the shifter and having a short shifter should only reduce the movement at the height of the cover so I think it could work!

@@PlaneTMRS oh ok if it's 4mm thick in total i think it should be good. i think i have about 7-8mm of clearance from the top of the shifter cage to the bottom of the boot. it never rattles against the shifter stem from vibrations or bumps?

@@bigboa660 It does touch the shifter but it has never caused any vibration noises for me, I designed the tolerances so its nice and firm!

Wow that’s amazing! Sadly I’m not in Germany at the moment or I would have considered getting it ;D but if you really want to sell it, you can send me some details and I can show it to the German mr2 forum, I’m sure there are people who are interested!

I can’t argue with that ;p but my statement was never a comparison to modern cars. At most it might have been one to my Toyota MR-S which based on being a convertible, doesn’t have the most stuff chassis :p I wanted to emphasize that FOR such an old car, this is probably as stiff as an AE86 can get. Stiff two door body, rollcage, strut bar and spot welded seams :D
