Where was the lied placed in the scenes or what act was it in and who sings it as in what character plays it.

I don't recall this song ever being in the operetta, I had seen Die Fledermaus at the Met back some ten or nine years ago, but I would remember most of the melodies and scenes, and this "Chacun a son gaut" in a French instead of German sounding doesn't quite cut my memory or the female character performing it.
