I think watching this was a mistake for me cos just lately I’ve been playing the first album over and over. Alex is probably one of the best “ real” song writers I’ve ever heard. View from an afternoon was one of the best albums I’ve heard in a long time ,… but it’s just as if they got a 2-3 album signing and after view from an afternoon just wrote any old rubbish. They’re ok live. But it’s like Alex acts older than he is. Like he’s convinced he’s a cross between Elvis,..Bowie,… with a drop of shaking stephens for good measure. But we are what we are. He’s not hurting me or anybody else for that matter. They’re a great band,.. well,..were. But ..sorry,..just not for me. I just feel like I’m sat in a late 70’s-early 80’s bingo hall while there’s a break in game tickets. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Sad really. I really loved the first album but that was enough for me. 😢
