Holiday Vlog | Thanksgiving adventure, decorating for Christmas, trying to find my style
No big adventures this time, just Thanksgiving weekend at home. We went for a walk with mountain views, let the cats have supervised outside time, and decorated for Christmas. Overall- just a super cozy weekend at home.

The dogs and I headed back to the far western part of the state to see fall colors. We drove through Crested Butte and visited Ridgway, Ouray, and Telluride. The dogs and I headed to Crested Butte and we were joined by my parents! They were visiting from Virginia and it was so fun to get to show them a new mountain town and do some awesome hikes. The wildflowers were still incredible, even in August. #colorado #hiking #wildflowers #travel

I have the best job in the entire world- adventure elopement photographer. Sometimes that means waking up super early and hiking for sunrise, so car camping is totally necessary. I had two back to back sunrise days and camped in two very different parts of Colorado: Great Sand Dunes National Park and near Aspen. I also hiked to my 40th alpine lake!

Mushu and I headed out to the San Juan Mountains of Colorado to explore Ouray, Telluride, and Ridgway. The plan was to be out there for 5 days, but I ended up getting really sick. We were 7.5 hours from home and had to deal with a high fever alone and with nowhere to go.

I spent in colo including working for CDOT so not a lot of roads in Colorado i havent been on, paved, flagged , picked up dead animals (oh the joy) etc. Moved from pine colo to SD to FL to TX to just driving ariundvliving in my truck camper for a couple of years and am temporarily living in a travel trailer in oregon. Heading to Quartsite AZ September 15th for 7mths then who knows!Keep moving!! Lifes shirt!! Pretty video
I do EVERYTHING alone. Got tired of being the only one who made an effort, forked up the cash, used my vehicle, ate my food etc....2001 was my last non solo trip. Met a friend in New Orleans. Mardi gras. Used my truck (semi) for a motel and his car to move around. I've been to Mardi Gras like 15 times. It was his 1st time so I was cool, patient etc. He wanted to stay on bourbon street, drink, look at boobs etc. After 4 days I wanted to check out the cemeteries and go down to the water for some NOLA cuisine. I dont drink & and I'm not interested in half naked women. It was a struggle and he made it clear he wasn't enjoying "my ideas" ruining it for me. Now 100% solo. Me and my dog!!
Being alone out there is always the best experience. Everyone has his/her own vibe with nature. Its difficult to find the same frequency out there
