Mind Over Mind - Alan Watts
The illusion of the self: Watts often explores the concept of the ego as a construct of the mind, rather than a fixed and unchanging entity. He may argue that our sense of self is a product of our thoughts and beliefs, and that we can liberate ourselves by transcending this limited view of ourselves.
The interconnectedness of all things: Watts is known for his emphasis on the interconnectedness of all things. In "Mind Over Mind," he might delve into how our thoughts and actions ripple out and affect the world around us, and how we are all part of a larger cosmic whole.
The nature of reality: Watts often challenges our conventional understanding of reality. He may explore the idea that reality is not fixed or objective, but rather a subjective experience created by our minds.
The power of the mind: Watts may discuss the immense power of the mind to shape our experiences and create our reality. He might explore techniques for harnessing this power to improve our lives.

Man and Nature || Alan Watts
มุมมอง 615หลายเดือนก่อน
“We have been brought up to experience ourselves as isolated centers of awareness and action, placed in a world that is not-us, that is foreign, alien, other, which we confront. Whereas in fact, the way an ecologist describes human behavior is as an action-what you do is what the whole universe is doing at the place you call here and now.” - Alan Watts Man and Nature #alanwatts #alanwattsspeech
Following the Taoist Way || Alan Watts
มุมมอง 388หลายเดือนก่อน
“Whereas the idea of God involved the control of everything going on, the idea of the Tao is the ruler who abdicates and trusts all the people to conduct their own affairs, to let it all happen. This doesn’t mean that there isn’t a unified organism and everything is in chaos. It means that the more liberty you give, the more love you give, the more you allow things in yourself and your surround...

Nothing has changed....except the level of exposure to sm and devices..the drawing us out away from ourselves is what has created the perceived greater duality. The fact that new generations are suffering more is an opportunity to drive one deeper in reuniting with their higher self/God. Which in contrast can provide liberation and expansion paving the way for a new awakening.
Annoying cracklimg throughout whole of it !

This is definitely AI that has been created using Alan Watts deep learning voice. A classic XXI century trick to make money.
My thoughts exactly I feel for this young generation this world is horrible . God is out. He has been out choosing his people . Now the devil is out choosing his people. I'm living proof. Prayers for us all.
Stop eating Cheetos in the background. Please. Says the Darma.

Yeah, sadly it requires extremely expensive equipment and expertise to clean crackling mic and other interference from old recordings. This one sounds like the tape itself got worn over the decades.
@@AD-kv9kj hopefully AI will be able to make audio cleanup a lot easier and cheaper.

Suicide isn’t a joke for those left behind.
They ended their suffering, and I'm sure they wouldn't want to be mourned forever.

I want so badly to understand what you are teaching.
All his teachings wants to shaw us that thinking is a disease the thinker as soon as it thinks it gets entangled into what it thinks about
Listen to Neville Goddard, Dr Joseph Murphy, Florence Scoval Shinn, Conny Mendez.
