Another nice cool evening has spawned so it was another great night to run the fans. This will probably be the last night for this week that the air conditioners will not have to operate at night since Monday The heat returns along with much warmer nights for a few days, so the air conditioner will have to operate at night due to the heat.

1978 Comfort-Aire 29,000 BTU Wall AC Restoration Update!

This is a restoration update on the 1978 Comfort-Aire Quietmaster Heat Controller 29,000 BTU AC. The unit unit has received some more electrical work and the panels have received their first coat of paint. The unit worked quite well on this test and blew ice cubes. These old air conditioners will never quit no matter what condition they’re in And they will last for decades.

This is the second time in not even two weeks that the Ackerly creek in Dalton PA has flooded. Severe thunderstorms had rolled through dumping about 2 to 4 inches of rain total and in not even an hour the creek had become a raging river.

I love the look of this helicopter. Have seen it fly over many times over here in Maine back then when LifeFlight of Maine had a few they were using as loaner aircraft. They had a teal and silver BK117 stationed at CMMC on the pad for a while between 2010-2013. Reg# N911CH
@@4500X_Blackout nice!! it’s nice to see these older helicopters still around because they are very reliable and they will last for decades as long as they are serviced and maintained properly and undergo regular inspections. This helicopter is N486LF and has been owned by Geisinger since it was new in 1995.

@@ArisBuliteanu no, this compressor is way too big for the application to a water fountain. This is an air conditioner compressor on my 1978 Comfort-Aire Quietmaster with Heat Controller 29K BTU AC
Refrigerated water fountains use Embraco and AE compressors
As per request, can you do a startup of the Copeland scroll compressor from the Ruud air conditioner? Scrolls sound a lot better than this reciprocating.
@@ArisBuliteanu I will definitely try to get that one starting up. The dual zone seems to have a real nice start up to it and that has twin Copeland scrolls.

@@ArisBuliteanu that’s exactly the way it sounded. These units are very unique amongst the small ones for their heat pump like sound.

This is a 1913 Lester upright grand piano. This piano is currently undergoing restoration And so far, the work is paying off.

Yeah. I actually used it for reference pitch to bring my Lester’s A2 down to that pitch.
Someone dismantled the wires for the speeds and the capacitor and now i dont know which wire is for where. Are you able to please facilitate me with them. Thanks.

@@kevinsalsbury2118 thanks! These units are very well known for the impressive quality that they retain to this day. The units were built very well and feature GE’s very own rotary compressor. The compressor is equipped with an oil cooler so the compressor doesn’t run as hot as a modern rotary and will last so much longer. You can’t kill these old General Electrics

@@sirisaac1991 really? I would like to know if there’s any video of those because I’ve never heard of one using a Matsushita rotary before. I’m more familiar with the ones that use either a Tecumseh recip for real big units and a GE rotary of in-house design for medium and smaller sized units.
What what I wanna hear is the Copeland Emerson scroll compressor start up, I like scroll compressors. More better because they have better sound.

VERY HAPPY SO octave 0 is 17 cents flat octave one is about 17 cents flat octave 2 is about 17 - 23 cents flat octave 3 is 15 - 29 cents flat octave 4 is around 20 - 30 cents flat octave 5 is around 30 cents flat octave 6 70 - 30 cents flat octave 7 is 10 cents flat and my f2 is currently at 86 hertz
