Yea...horror has really slim pickins
a great video. I love it.
Yes! I love thoughtful reviews!
More than “it’s a must read” or “I just didn’t like it” lol
positively charmed by your eloquence, dedication and sense of humor
putting snaring the huntress directly above catch 22 is so unhinged, i’m obsessed
I always hear so many good things about Mexican Gothic but I really disliked it! Your thoughts were spot-on! I am going to read Horrorstor soon. I have really liked Grady Hendrix. None of them are meant to be taken seriously but it works well for me. I really liked How to Sell A Haunted House. I should get to Rules of Civility in the next few weeks. I read another Amor Towles book and it was pretty good but I will go into this one with tempered expectations! Killers of the Flower Moon and Say Nothing were both such amazing non-fiction reads. I read anything that Patrick Radden Keefe writes. He is fantastic! Fantastic video as always! I am adding Erasure and The Heart in Winter to my TBR right now.
I would totally read another Grady Hendrix book for a silly time! And am def gonna pick up more from David Grann and Patrick Radden Keefe - also omg I hope you enjoy Erasure and The Heart in Winter!!
Hi, I am looking for a fiction book, it could be a novel or thriller or book that teaches you something by telling a story or something any fiction - i was reading non fiction(self help) since past 2 years and now wanted to try my first fiction (any nest fiction you liked the most best GOAT type shi)- can you recommend me something 😊😊 - it would be agreat help, Thanks.
Your videos are so stinking good. I love this! It sums up what I think of Sanderson. Magic systems are on point but I didn't love the rest. I need to go back and read Mistborn again. I loved it so much as a teenager and I wonder if I will still like it as an adult.
Thank you so much!! :) And yea I might give him another go and pick up a secret project bc curious to see how his writing has changed over the years but I’m not gonna get my hopes up lol
can you PLEASE do a service where you do voiceovers these are really good ty
This is soo good. Loved the video. Your editing, the way you talk. Everything is smacking
thanks so much you're too kind!!
50th sub! subscribing for peak brain
Thank you kind friend!!
Loved this video! Thank you for keeping it brief and interesting 🙏
thank you!! :)
this is hilarious. I am obsessed with this. Great video!
thank you!!
Cadence was fine, reading came across and mostly natural, animation commentary was engaging-ish. The problem I had with this was the pacing and editing choices. The audio felt a bit hollow and could've benefitted from some kind of music backtrack. I would've loved to get to the tier ranking faster and have less time spent on the intro and premise sections.
thanks for the feedback!
I was also disappointed by the ending. While I understand that the blackbirds have a metaphorical significance, I was really hoping to see Ushiyama uncover their mystery. Given that their population seems to be growing exponentially, I wondered if they were being domesticated or harvested. What's particularly curious is that no one, especially the regular workers, has ever seen these birds in their infancy-only in adulthood. This makes me think there might be a shadow department secretly regulating their life cycle. Just my theory, LOL. Great review, BTW.
Gotta love the Costco book section! I’ve never heard of this but sounds like a fun/silly time
i appreciate this short and sweet review. very entertaining and great presentation. subscribed!
thank you!!
Heehee! You made me laugh out loud again! Based on your review this is a book I need to read as it sounds like a mess. Super intrigued!
Great video! I've heard of Brzrkr but didn't know there was a novel form of it. I might have to pick this one up!
i think you'll have fun with it! :)
Good to see the channel growing.
Like the way delivering the content, hilarious and useful😄
Oh this sounds like my cup of tea… gotta love a corporate meme
This is again hilarious! I wanted to read this one, too, for fall. But mayyyyybe not 😂
Great content !!!!
Great breakdown and commentary! I didn't expect to laugh at 4:29 😆 You got me with that one!
i wanna read this now
so glad i'm not alone lol. I thought it was cool that Sanderson was probably really working out his feelings about finishing the wheel of time in this, the emperor being robert jordan, but even with that i just felt so whatever by the end.
This is the first time I've ever come across a mention of this book! It stood out to me that the factory was not a malicious place that mistreats their workers, just a monotonous, cold company that somehow keeps itself running with employees that do meaningless work. At the time of reading it, I worked in a stressful environment with lots of workplace drama and found myself almost wishing for the monotonous, inconsequential work described. Yes, I remember that the ending was abrupt. I think the book has a lower rating because gives you a negative feeling at the end, there is no closure, no glimmer of hope that things can change. ...I think I need to find a new job or hobby or something.
glad to find someone else that's read this! :) hope the wrk situation for you has improved now
Actually underrated channel I know you just opened your channel but I hope you reach your potential If I came back after 1 or 2 years and I found out that you didn't at least reach 50k to 100k subs I will be disappointed in humanity
thank you kind sir!!!

Really good video, and love your editing :D
This is such a funny review 😹 I’m obsessed with your editing. The Ariana Grande picture made me SCREEEEAAAMMM. I haven’t read any Brandon Sanderson either… maybe I will someday but now I feel better about putting it off for so long
thank you!! <33 and yea you're not missing out on too much imo lol
Heard so much about Annie Bot! Thank you for your take on it!
Great review! I really liked the way you presented it
Thank you!! Huge fan of your channel I’ve gotten so many awesome book recommendations from you!
