I dont like round drills. I dont feel like they give the same coverage as the square drills do and dont have the same depth as square drills do. I have ordered some round drill kits recently, didnt have a choice in the drill option. I am hoping the finished pictures are as beautiful in round as they appear in the advertised photo

I started diamond painting around the same time you did and I've been following your journey <3 I started with my trusty single placer as well but you convinced me to try out my multi placer and it's great! so thanks for that! I always diamond paint at my desk because I like to keep things organized. I'm working on an Oraloa diamond painting frrom Vayounnette, I love her work. Anyways, I love watching your videos, and I think the angles of the camera are very much improving so keep up the good work!! <3

I actually am working on one of my diamond paintings that is really special to me I'm a huge Dc fan and out of all the dc superheros I only have one that I love a lot more than the others which is Batman got my very first Batman diamond painting for Christmas just started it on Saturday night and going to have him forever! I am actually going to get him framed eventually once he's finished and he'll be hung up in my room.

Michael’s has really nice diamond paintings. I love the medium sized squares. Your diamond painting is defective. I have done Michael’s coasters. I’m not as crazy about Michael’s coasters. Amazon has better ones. Even, though they can be just as bad. I’ve had them peel as well.

Love the colors. This pops. The less expensive squares are harder to do because of the size of drills. I find that I pay wack a mole with them. Because, they pop out.

Edit - I’ve just got to the part where you said you tried tweezers 🤣 if they were the plastic ones try metal. If not then I’m out of ideas haha! For ABs I highly recommend trying tweezers! I avoided using them for the longest time as I thought it would be fiddly so continued to struggle with my pen but gave in and tried it one day and it made the biggest difference, it’s so easy and so much quicker. I can now also place 3 ABs at a time using my tweezers now too. I use some straight, pointy ones from Amazon that work great. I know some people like to used angled tweezers too. You should try it!

Never heard that before glass drills but I think they are mainly called iridescent for diamont art club and others just call them crystals….cuz of the mirror backing they kinda look like crystals…i use dirty pink wax it doesn't come out or keep the drills on the pen I have tried putty but sometimes it takes the coating off so I just dirty some pink wax and have a pen that only has that for Abs...and I put them on first because when I put them last before it was getting hard to fit them in like you were at the end so now I get them out of the way first and all is good after…also a tip for multi placing you gotta try putting them down at an angle and not straight down that way you can clearly see where you are placing and you don't have to fix them everytime you put them down otherwise it defeats the purpose of you end up fixing every single one everytime you multiplace…i don't know if that makes sense like putting one end and then roll The other way to place it flat.. right to left😅😊also I find it easier to vertical place from left to right so I can see what I'm doing better..good luck.…one last thing the drill field on the new kits like this one don't really have that much give to them and have to try to be spot on cuz you will see it when it starts going off like you did because of some gaps you left…so just make sure you check all your drills are stuck on there too cuz just from looking I can see some are not on properly and may pop off so either run your fingers over after you finish the section or roll pin it and make sure they are on there and with how big it is it will be difficult to see when they do pop off or you miss a spot like that u next to the washi tape…cant wait for another one I enjoy your diamond painting videos and totally subscribed cuz of them…

Hey Riah I'm using glass drills too on my diamond painting there also in the Goddess of spring painting I think the drills are called iridescent diamonds but I've been following your channel for a while and I always watch them when I'm diamond painting.

Is it only me sat here going... OMG that tray holder is amazing! But.... what if you knock the whole thing over? diamond chaos for months to come!

You could do the same drawing a bit like Andy warhol: one blue, one green, one orange, etc…

Old used pink wax works perfect with ABs

I am working on a rainbow lion and it’s so big with 28 colors

I use "old, used" putty for ABs and try to only use light pressure when picking up and placing them. If my pen has fresh putty I will finish regular drills first in the section and do ABs last. If putty is already used and not sticking well I will do ABs first and then change the putty for fresh and do regular drills. I have tried tweezers and did not like them as could only single place and pink wax was the same as putty as fresh wax would damage AB coating and had to be "used" and it becomes unable to pick up very fast with ABs. Edit: I would recommend Diamond Dotz Round drill paintings (premium ones not the budget ones like from Walmart for best experience). Their premium round drills are unique and very sparkly.

Jaded Gem Shop has some Twilight paintings! And you can choose your size and drill shape too. :) I just keep using my regular pen and putty for ABs like I use for any other drills. For me, it helps if I'm using a firmer putty that isn't too soft and stringy. If you're using wax, it helps to use wax that hasn't just recently been placed in the pen; used wax that's less sticky. I diamond paint in my office/studio. My husband hung daylight LED lights across my ceiling so it's super bright in here. XD I love it!

Quakehold to place your ABs. It’s a clear gel that you can mold in your placer or tip to pick up the drills. Can get at places like Amazon or Walmart. But personally for myself, I tweezer place mine. And always do the special drills last in my section.
