I wish the game would have provided an in-depth tutorial on parkour first, rather than going overboard with the historical explanations, because you're only as good as your knowledge.

nice video bro but the parkour animations are way too slow and the movement animations are just too much. This game is the worst when it comes to parkour and also the main missions. You cant tell the difference between main and side quests which is stupid of ubisoft to make it like that. i dont get why they cant send out an update which improves parkour animations and the quests.

People just don't know how to play videogames and blame the game for their lack of IQ and ability xD Same the bug finders, theses guys just don't know how to play the game like it's supposed to be played even when most games are clear but there are dumb people who just can't... It works in online games(taking advantage) but not offline. Most of bad reviews on AAA games are from people who couldn't even open the game(those 0,2 hours reviews... Fuck these people) or just didn't learn how to play it ("I think all AC should have the same parkour system, totally unrealistic with cyborg arms xD but I want..."). Rarely you gonna see a review about the depth of the history, repetitive gameplay, less gameplay mechanics than the previews games... People prefer to talk about how they wish the game was open world instead of linear...

I think the hate is understandable though tbh, but if we do look at this as just a game to have fun and not compare it to any other which is hard to do at least for me, then sure I'd say it does get hated a bit too much, I mean I had fun at stealth in this game even if the detection system is unfair I still liked it, also open world design dosen't fail as always

The lighting and visuals are doing A LOT of heavy lifting here. The parkour is so stiff and feels like so much effort compared to the old parkour which was super responsive and fluid. It’s average at best.

story was mid, the cloth physics are non existent in a game series known for the nice cloth physics, combat and parkor were okay, characters were also unlikable. there is more but it would take too long.

Along with the other two games before this the rpg system doesn't fit along with the wacky fantasy weapons if they made an entirely new title with this system then it's not a problem. I dunno man if you can't even kill an "Elite enemy" with an assassination because they are higher level or a different class or other weird passive effects says alot on how this title has changed. Stealth has been put to the side for more open combat. It's funny how they still call these games "assassin's creed".
