Here I have cut together the best clips of my TRAXXAS UDR so far. Includes Outtakes, unreleased bonus clips and my favorites.

TRAXXAS UDR modified - USR Unlimited Street Racer - Unleash The Beast - Project Getting Low - iMovie

Here's the first 'Getting Low' project footage. Used XO-1 springs rear and front, mid weight siliconoil and travel reducers on the shocks. Still needs small optimizing, but I'm happy with the results on asphalt. ProLine Heatwave body. VITAVON V2 with ProLine HYRAX. Many aluminium parts. Running on 6S Lipo's.

Modified Suspension with XO-1 Springs, shortened damping travel and mid weight silicon oil. Work in Progress. HYRAX ProLine Tires on Vitavon V2 aluminum wheels. 3mm spacers. First test run on asphalt with some rubber burning. Next up Wide Body wheel wells, fine tuning and more footage.

Hi Im looking to upgrade my suspension on my udr any suggestions and what weight oil I should use
It depends on how you want to drive. More runs or more jumps. My UDR mainly runs with a few low jumps. I‘m using the orange stripe springs front and rear with really light oil (liqui moly 10w40, synthetic engine oil) but only because i use 3D printed shock pistons.
This is how the udr was intended to be used as. It’s not a basher and one thing people need to know is if you use the udr with 6S change the spur gear to a 55t or you will have issues.

Thanks! I use the trx2255 servo. On road suspension is a modified original set of shocks. I used alloy tubes on the shafts for limiting, length depending on how low it should be. Springs are the TRX XO-1‘s. Medium-thin oil. Offroad I use some 3D printed pistons with thin 10w40 synthetic engine oil. Orange striped springs front and rear. 👍

Nice vid and awesome UDR! I have one with a lot of Vitavon as well, just curious, but what springs and oil weight do you use for both front and rear for all the added weight from the Vitavon parts?
Thanks! I use the orange stripe springs, with some 3D printed pistons for the shocks. The oil I use is a thin 10W40 synthetic engine oil 😅

I used the Traxxas XO-1 springs with some alloy tubes inside of the shocks for limiting.
Das Video finde ich prinzipiell gut, aber gerade der erste Song schreit förmlich nach mehr Action. Das passt irgendwie nicht so ganz zu reinen slowmo Szenen. Der Sprung mit den zwei Perspektiven ist super, aber eine davon hätte in Echtzeit sein sollen, damit mehr Schwung rein kommt. Bitte nicht falsch verstehen, ich sage nur was mir aufgefallen ist. Ich habe es anfangs auch immer so gemacht und wurde dann von einem Profi darauf hingewiesen...

Is it gonna die when I drive like submarine with no waterproofing work?
The eletronical parts are waterproof, but like the manual says, it should not be submerged for a longer time. Afterwards the UDR should be dried good.

Thanks! I built in some customized 3D printed pistons, medium springs front and rear and filled the shocks with 10W40 Engine Oil 😅👍
