You have a lovely tone and vibrato, and while of course we use our “diaphragm“ to support our airstream, it is actually our throat pulsing ever so slightly that produces vibrato. Otherwise you would see Flute players’ stomachs/clothing quaking as they play lol!

Thanks for the tips. Teacher, I rather find that it is easy to do lower octave notes. 😏😏😏 Kinda need consistency and stability from C4 and up.😕😕😕

Wow! As a "new" beginner you tutorials have been an excellent resource for me. I am an older adult who has played at different times of my life, after a 15 year break, I am playing again. The Trevor Wye beginners book 1, and your videos have helped alot get me back to playing again.I am taking my time & am on last section of book 1 on my third month. Listening to you and playing along is assisting me hear the musicality of each song and assist my self study. Thanks❤

Excellent teaching mailynn! I have a yamaha yfl-222, their newest student flute. It does not have a split E mechanism, but suppose to be a good student flute. Can I still get a decent high E? Thanks Could trade it for the yfl 212 which has the split E
