God Smites Uzza!
มุมมอง 8721 วันที่ผ่านมา
Have you ever wondered why God killed Uzza when he touched the ark of the Covenant to keep it from falling off the ox cart? What's up with that? I Chronicles Chapter 13 provides the account of this transgression.
Hebrews Study (Lesson 3)
มุมมอง 26หลายเดือนก่อน
The focus of this study is on the central figure of Scripture, itself, the Lord Jesus Christ. The final, full revelation of God is through the Son. He is described here as Heir of all things, Creator of all things, and Redeemer of all things!
The Godhead Study (Lesson 2)
มุมมอง 57หลายเดือนก่อน
We continue our study in the Old Testament and consider the various ways that God revealed Himself to humanity.
Hebrews Lesson 2
มุมมอง 57หลายเดือนก่อน
Our second lesson will provide some foundational information from the Old Testament in order to aid us in our understanding and comprehension of Hebrews, which has a large number of O.T. references. This is a general overview. In future lessons, we will flesh out greater detail, as we study verse by verse.
The Godhead Study (Lesson 1)
มุมมอง 68หลายเดือนก่อน
This study will introduce us to the Two Powers that are evident in the Old Testament regarding the Godhead. It will provide a foundation for future studies that will bring us to the doctrines of the Trinity and the hypostatic union of Jesus Christ, as Son of God and Son of Man.
Hebrews Study (Deity)
มุมมอง 39หลายเดือนก่อน
An introductory lesson to the book of Hebrews. I deal with the critical doctrine of the deity of Jesus Christ and the nature of the triune godhead in this first lesson. It is not an exhaustive study, by any means, but a foundational doctrine to understand.

Mortified!
มุมมอง 324 หลายเดือนก่อน
Colossians 3:5-11 follows up on our Position as being risen with Christ (verses 1-4) and how we are to consider dead the ungodly manners of our flesh, while we live in this world.
Thanks Pastor
it seems to be easy for some to lose sight of the big picture of what took place for Lucifer to lose sight of the big picture and usurp power from God, and remembering the plan God set in motion to take it back. I am thankful that the Godhead chose to include us humans in that plan of action!!! It took me some growing up to see that and without that gospel of God, as you mentioned, there is no gospel of the kingdom or gospel of the grace of God for the heavenlies. thank God for his wonderful gift and the manifold wisdom, Searchable and unsearchable!
I remember my Dad telling us boys not t smear his name by our behavior. Well we didn't for a while but when we grew up a little we began to go our own way and well that name wasn't any more important to us than the paper it was written on. Sadly, many smear the name of the Lord with their practice and service to the flesh, and they are ignorant and cant see it that way because they do not believe that the name given on the paper is important , and the daily walk is in vain and their testimony is vain, thus they take the name of the Lord in vain. Makes me sad, and I believe the Spirit is deeply grieved at this.
God first, and then Jesus: God is the one who created Jesus and then made him a creator for our sakes. God is the one who loves us so such that He sent Jesus as a way for us to return back to Him. God is the one who sent Jesus to seek and save that which was lost. God is so loving, but will never give His glory to another; yet He will share it with all those who love and obey Him-this and much more to those who know that the Father is our only God. Jesus who has God’s power and spirit living in him, of his own free will [choice] laid down his life that we may live forever (John 10:18). Jesus loves us so much that he washed us from our sins in his own blood (Revelation 1:5). Jesus, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God (Revelation 3:14). Jesus has told us all that we need to know in order to be saved and reunited with the Father. Jesus loves the Father and us so much that he told and showed us exactly what life eternal is: it is knowing the difference between the Father and the Son (John 17:3).
The way our God communicates with us is so glorious ! Thanks brother!
Amen!!
Amen!!!
This message is such a blessing and I'm so proud of Will and rejoice with you, Larry, that he "has to preach" now. Sharon from MO
Very nice, Brother Gabbard. I especially appreciated your comments on the value of life, even if the world does not value certain people, as we are the imagine bearers. ✝⚓💜
The beautiful song you mentioned is titled A Christian Home. th-cam.com/video/M20zPqW-aKM/w-d-xo.html. Enjoying your lesson on Family Affairs, Brother Gabbard.
Thank you!
Re-watching, and re-chuckling..."slow on the uptake" (42:30)...thanks, brother! 😄
😄Glad you enjoyed it!
This teaching is so rich with Bible truth. Thank you, Brother Gabbard.
Glad you enjoyed it
Commenting on how Paul must have felt when "all they in Asia have turned away".....we can fully appreciate Paul's discouragement, disappointment. But how wonderful that the Holy Bible states that so that we Grace believers can find comfort and encouragement today knowing that Paul experienced that, too. Another great lesson, Brother Gabbard!
Yes, we are in "good company" as I always say.
Thanks so much brother. I love Colossians.🙏🏻
Really good study! Thank you, Brother Gabbard. I'm looking forward to your continuing lessons in Galatians.
Thank You! It's a wonderfully important letter to understand.
right out of the gate this came to mind [1Co 5:9-10 KJV] 9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. My Dad use to tell me not to be so heavenly minded that I am no earthly good.
Very well said...... Sir John 🎩🛡👊TOW ROW ROW !!!💪
Wonderful video ❤👍
The girls loved this one brother Larry. Thanks for sharing
Peaceful. After watching your video I looked up fun facts on these creatures. I wasn't aware that there are more than one type of these birds. And that they like to eat snakes. Go herons!! Thanks for posting.
I am 54 turning 55 in August, and I am beginning to realize the importance of a correct understanding of church history on our faith in these End Times. King Solomon is correct when he said, there is nothing new under the heaven. What happened, the influence of Gnosticism and Platonism on the believers is also having a big influence on Christians and the unsuspecting church today! May we be forewarned, forearmed. Blessings from Perth, Western Australia.
Thank you! I certainly agree!
Thank you brother. Touched my heart. 😘🙏🏻
Fellowship with Grace Gospel believers is wonderful and to be cherished. Thank you, Brother Gabbard for a good lesson. Watch out for scammers!
Thank You!!
Blessings all around! ..........so fun!
Love it, the music too, 🤗
Your lesson reminded me of the stronghold of the Hebrew Roots movement that seems to be gaining steam. Oh, boy.😕 I am thankful for the liberty and freedom we have in Christ. Thank you, Brother Gabbard, for another good teaching.
Amen!
I particularly enjoyed the lesson portion on Paul's prayers. Thank you, Brother Gabbard.
What a great time of fellowship and study for you all! And a really good lesson. When you taught about Romans 8:18 it brought to mind my dear friend, Laura Feldick, and how she embraced those words and they strengthen her through many trials. Thank you, again, for your ministry (even in a work shop 😊, I would have loved to have been there!). ✝⚓💜
I now better understand 'the sons of God' and 'the begotten Son', something I knew but didn't have it all nailed down. 🔨 Thank you, Brother Gabbard, for another good Bible lesson. ✝⚓💜
Thank you, Brother Gabbard, for re-teaching this lesson. The Colossians 2:11 & 12 d/b/r connection was pretty awesome! 💡 ✝⚓❤
Starting around the 35 minute mark the information you brought out about the Body of Christ and the dispensation of Grace being part of His purpose to help fulfill the prophetic promises with regard to Israel and all that involves was a lightbulb moment for me. 💡 I have to take a breath and contemplate all of this! I'll be rewatching this lesson on God's Eternal Purpose. Thank you, Brother Gabbard. ✝⚓💜
Wow! Haven’t seen Kole since he was about 3-4 years old playing with Abby, my German Shepard and Kiera was still in diapers❤😊
When I think of the angelic hosts, I am reminded of what Satan said to Eve in the garden when he said in Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. My question is could Eve see those fallen ones or even good ones that were present on the earth at that time, and with Satan's words was she tempted to be as they were also?
Wow! What a great day for you all! Thanks for sharing, proud Granddad. 🤠
Thank you so much for building on my foundation in these things. I have beheld a lot of these things through R. Jordan's teaching (either one of them Ricks, lol)and personal study, but some of these things you brought up nailed it down and it is a true joy and gives me confidence in the scripture more and more!!
Thanks John! Thankful to the Lord for any good that may come from the ministry He has allowed me to have.
Aaaamen. Good preaching brother
Colossians wore me out until @ 4 years ago!
May we grow in and through His Word. Thank you, Brother.
I had some "lightbulb" moments from your lesson. Thank you, Brother Gabbard.
You're Very welcome!
Love these messages brother!
Glad you like them! Thanks for listening1
Thank you for your mention of John Lennox. We can learn a thing or 2 from that man.
Thank you brother. Needed that this morning! ❤
You are so welcome!
As always , great lesson !!!!
Glad you liked it! Thanks Brother!
😊❤😊
Thank you for this series brother Larry! These are wonderful!
You're welcome! I really need to make the time to add some more lessons. There is much more to cover, obviously!
Yes!! It's a BIG BOOK!!
I am starting to see people separate things in Paul's letters, things pertaining to the Jew and not to us, and using the pronouns provided in the scripture to prove they're rightly dividing Paul's letters, and in doing so are the correct way to perform 2nd Timothy 2:15. What do you call that? Does this effect the doctrine given to us?
Hi John! If you are referring to those who are teaching that Paul is addressing the Little Flock in some parts of his epistles, I find that certainly discouraging. This sort of teaching has led to other doctrinal errors such as soul sleep and universal reconciliation.
Thank you, Brother Gabbard. The understanding of what made Jesus The Begotten Son is fairly new to me. It was good to review that in your lesson. Be blessed!
You're welcome! Yes, that was a real eye-opener for me, too! And so important!
Oooh “ignorance is the devils playground” that’s a good way of explaining it.
Thank you!!
its interesting that although Saul/Paul blasphemed the Holy Spirit at the stoning of Stephen, no way could he be part and partial of the kingdom program since he was leader in that, the "as one out of due season", in his natural mind due season was right after the tribulation when they are made ready for the kingdom then, but God, with his new information, dispensation, was able to save Paul, not as a kingdom saint but now as a new creature.
Yes sir! As stated by Paul in 1 Timothy 1:13, he was indeed a blasphemer and worthy of the same condemnation as those other unbelieving Jews who stoned Stephen, but he did it "ignorantly in unbelief" and obtained forgiveness by Grace!
I appreciate your stand on the King James Bible. It wasn't until I did a study on the doctrine of Inspiration and the doctrine of Preservation was I fully convinced. I praise The Lord for all those wonderful teachers, past and present, who study and preach the word, rightly dividing the KJB. Thank you, Brother Gabbard.
I appreciate hearing that! Yes, I became firmly convinced years ago of the necessity to have an authoritative standard of truth to measure all things by.
