I was actually trying this about 5 years ago and almost beat SeaJay's run, but I never managed to get a satisfying run. This looks like the fastest possible. There's no way I would have gotten this. Nice one.
thanks, it took a complete reroute and a few hundred runs to get it to this point, but anyone can get a 38 w Coral if they copy the route. i like the other bosses and especially the campaign+ bosses a lot better, you should check out those records im a lot more proud of them

Ok I've never been more impressed with a run than this
its been a year since my last pb and i never even stopped going for it. an entire year of consistent effort for this holy run

sub minute is kind of sick
every droid except maybe Shiitake can sub 1, but only Coral can get below 50. this run is only a few tenths away from matching what a hypothetical tas would be n its been a several year journey shaving time off of this level

theres no actual tas but if i get close enough to perfect i can calc the fastest possible time, in this case im close enough to perfect to know exactly how much more is possible, the limit is 49.8@@TrainerGoldAlt

Explain to me im dum
one short reason and one stupidly overcomplicated one. 1 its the only level with a stable out of bounds position and 2 its the only level in which a specefic enemy type can spawn on a terrain other than its normally associated terrain, HOWEVER the weirdest part is it isnt even the terrain prior to the spawn, but one of the first terrains in the stage. in order to even find this one must do intentional terrain carry-over fuckery that loses several dozen seconds purely for fun (it was me i did it for fun)

thanks! it took a lot of work. this is the 3rd and last time an android has gotten sub 2. only Coral, Liq n Starch can. Cactus could w tas bc theres a super precise flamethrower glitch
