NOTE: I completely misspoke about power and hook set correlation. More power allows better/easier hook sets for bigger/ heavy wire hooks. It does not mean you have to set the hook harder because of rod power. This video is a review on the BassX casting rod that I've used for the past year. The review is my opinion on the quality and usability of the rod and should not be taken as absolute fact....

I haven’t tried it yet myself but I spoke with someone and they keep a small wet sponge with some cleaner close by and dip the tip to keep it from drying.

Shortly after that video I moved and damaged my PC. I haven't made a gaming video since. Other priorities have taken over with home ownership, sorry to disappoint.

My bad, I was using the big breamer reel and the retrieve was clearly too fast on speed 2. I swapped it for the EspiraML 3500 and bagged a uni Zander on the 3rd or 4th cast
And I can confirm that this is not a very good spot for zander, one little knock per cast around 180ft out and then snag after snag.
Oh dude, I had to chuckle when you said part 2 would be quicker as you don't have uni perch or uni pike on this video and I have just spent what felt like a lifetime getting those 2. The Perch took days and days of trying different rigs, times and weather, if you haven't got it yet I caught it on a cloudy day off the end of the dock, around 100ft out on an #8 hook with bloodworm at about 4pm cloudy. The pike was a pain too, bites are very rare but got it on a cloudy day around midday but there are a few vids on here for the pike.
I had found most of the other unis and had it recorded but damaged my computer while moving and haven't done a gaming video since. That's why I thought it would be sooner. Joke was on me though.

Whats 7a-8p for example?
Time frames. 7am to 8pm or 0700 to 2000 if you use military times. Each fish species has a best bite window that changes based on weather type.
Also for clarity 7a 5p would be two separate best hours not the entire day. Where 7a-9a is a 3 hour window. Start of the 7 o'clock until the end of the 9 o'clock hour. I hope this helps to clarify.

Man I broke my airbrush yesterday! I was cleaning it and the little tip piece for iwata that has a tiny spanner wrench to take off broke. I went to loosen it and the threads broke off in the head of the airbrush. So disappointed!!😭😭

Yeah, it took some time. Honestly it's the smaller fish that aren't commonly sought after that take the longest to find. You wont find many people changing down the unique yellow perch.🤣🤣
