Thank you for your kind comments. The whistle is a low F . I don’t know of any sheet music or tab for it but there very well may be one. I play totally by ear myself. Best of luck with it! 👍

@@doniekeyesmusic That is great, thanks for your reply. I also play by ear only, but in this case it is tricky, because my whistle is in a different key. But now that I know that The Awakenings is played in F I can hopefully figure it out more easily. If not, I will have to invest in a low F whistle. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your very kind comments. I am and have been a huge fan of the lads all my life. I followed them all over the country back in the day from small gigs to the big ones. You are from a very nice family and you’re the one that should be proud. I know what that tune meant to the lads. Incidentally I have just found out recently that my neighbour was best friends with your late aunt Valerie.. a small world!. The lads did an amazing job… I know my part is not perfect Again I’m delighted you liked our version and thank you for taking the time to send your lovely message. Oh and Don’t worry about the Mr! Hi from Spain, the first time my wife and I saw Celtus play was when they supported Paul Carrack on tour in Preston, they stole the show!! We then followed them when they were on tour in England and met Pat and John after a show in Liverpool, very modest, talented and helpful musicians. I asked Pat all types of questions how he got the type of sounds from one of his PRS guitars and he was so helpful, for me Pat is one of the greatest guitarists I have ever seen, and for comparison I saw live Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Steve Howe, Pete Townsend, Stephen Stills and many others. I wish Pat and his great band would tour Spain, especially in the Alicante region where I live, we live in a very large Irish populated area. One question I would like to ask Pat or John is did they ever publish the music for "the awakening". My wife and I got married to this piece of beautiful music in 2000 and I want to surprise my wife for our silver wedding celebration in 2025. I think the music is in Bb but if I could just get the chords that would really help, kind regards from Spain, John.
