Why does our music rig that we bring to a gig look like it does? Can we make it better? Do we really need all that we bring? Are we bringing enough? The Rig Rat is about music gear. It's about approaches to gigging. The stuff you bring to your gig is your rig.

Love the energy man😂, instant sub.
Are you selling your keyhole shell?
I have the other style legs that use bolts.
I have a plan b for sale in Michigan
Hey what size bolts do the legs take for the plan b. I can’t find mine. Mine is a 5ft
I just bought that one at Guitar Center! 😂 good price! 😮And still works!😅
B stock
I always smile when I hear of older music players still playing music
I have to admit I feel a little ripped off. It’s really a 6 channel mixer.
This guy is clueless as to how this gear works
Thats ridiculous dont press dual again press the voice. You have a note on
Great review, thinking of getting this with a boom, which ups the price tag to over near $300!
9 minutes of bullsh!t until the unit is even out of the box…
this dudes halarious
Mine doesn't do this. It has an F# 2 that likes to hang. It was sounding louder at times along with hanging. I'm a tech, so I cleaned the contacts and pads and swapped the bubble stripe with the lower octave. Now it just hangs intermittingly. BTW, I bought mine used, so I can't bitch too much! ;-) It does it less when left on and warmed up some. I think it could be a cold solder joint or possibly a crack in a trace. could be a carbon pad problem on the contact board. I will find out and repost it here. I'm also a photographer and documented disassembling and cleaning the keybed on the RD-88. Also, my FP-10. Yeah, both have PHA-4 standard action. But they Are Not the same. They feel slightly different and sound different. The keybeds, not the samples. The FP-10 has a clatter the RD-88 doesn't. It will be in my video. The keybeds are made different. All plastic on the FP-10. Probably all FP series. Metal parts where the key bushings are on the RD and my FA-08 among other things. Different part numbers in all the keys too. Not the the keybed assembly.
Did it still work after that? Lmao
Poor comparison. You should set the Beat Buddy on the floor and basically get on your knees with your guitar in hand to turn the knobs! Doesn’t seem very practical. Am I missing something? With my Alesis SR18, I just put my pattern number in, set the tempo without having to get on my knees, and I’m off and running
Ok good it does come with power supply that was the sales point time to get it on zzounds
How to save settings
Muito bom
Hello , I like your videos .. I do apologize for asking, maybe you can share how you assign drum patterns in the pads. I have alesis sr 18 but I just discovered in this videos that you mentioned you can able to instantly assign the pads for the drum beats. Thank you for answering. Subs here🫡
Where can I buy such a 42 inch shell?
Yamaha fc4 are tricky, but still can adjust the polarity by unplugging keyboard, replugging the keyboard, then plugging in the pedal as you turn on the keyboard and wait for it to boot up.
"oh its a drive-by... im in the detroit area" made me laugh out loud
Wish this thing had midi sync. What are you using these days?
Just got one in red and it is a lovely piano, very pleased with it. 🎹💓.
Sweet! Very pretty and sounds great!
Hello, I want to buy the RD-1000 Piano, would you be able to help me?
Since the Privia has a glass/mirrored front, how scratch and fingerprint resistant is it when taken on the road?
Does this come with a stand ?
how does the Korg D1 action compare to Yamaha P125, P225, Roland FP-90X, Kawai ES920 and CA 701? CA 701 is probably extremely close to a grand piano (as least close to a Kawai Grand). I have heard the Korg D1 is heavy key action. Roland FP-30X makes you think it is real, but a real Kawai Grand action is not like that
I very nearly ended up getting a used Tyros 5 last year but even that was a bit too expensive. However as I have since gone off flagship arranger keyboards if I still wanted something better than my Yamaha PSR-295 a Yamaha PSR-SX900 appeals to me more than Tyros or Genos. It even looks nicer than a Tyros 5.
I got rid of the SX900 because the piano was weak. Not a full professional sound. If I could load a nice piano sound into it, it would be great. Looks like Genos is the way to go. Still too expensive.
@@TheBuddyKeys In the end I decided to stick with Halion 7 as it doesn't really make sense buying an arranger unless you have a use for auto accompaniments. I also prefer the workflow of VST instruments and sound modules. However I have heard talk about Yamaha bringing out a new flagship arranger keyboard to replace Genos. That would mean when the original Genos is discontinued it will be a bit cheaper, I have already started seeing them go for less than £4,000 used and a used Tyros 5 is also now cheaper compared to what they typically cost in 2022 but my current decision not to buy one is final.
Beautiful
Popcorn
Can I used this pedal for guitar volume pedal?
As a master volume
Yamaha psr sx900 is my Dream I love You video.
U sound like a mix of hank + walter white. Someone ever told you?. Im serious you could do walter impressions damn
What a useless review
Will this work with Yamaha Digital Piano P-115?
I'm sorry, I don't know. Did you find out if it does? :)
Jesus 7 minutes and it finally emerges from the cardboard
I'm an ass.
What makes sense in comparing two boxes by the looks? You could as well have compares a matchbox with a box of cigars... Not a word about functionallity, reliance, cost or anything else. Sorry, but this is a waste of time :(
It’s beautiful
I enjoyed your video It really cracked me up lol. I’ve got one of these ordered hopefully I can learn how to use it. ❤😃
what about the rd88 issue. is it fix now.
You are best man
Most definitely the funniest unboxing I’ve seen yet, very entertaining and mostly useless but thank you.
Dont do business with guitar Center. They're owned by the cartel
Why make a review without reading the manual ??
I thought it was a feature! I used it to set a drone pad underneath - if you press the "dual" button back on and tap the sustain pedal it should kill the had sustain.
How long (years) these keys could survive if to play everyday at least 3 hrs? Yamaha, Roland are better according the keys quality or not?
great video as always
