    hmmm didnt knew the drives towards and from , entering and leaving the airport took so long , actually considered taking the plane over taking a bus because of the difference in travel time but now it seems that its not verry different , was thinking about ho chi minh city though and maibe go there from thailand instead of cambodia looked intoo planetickets from cambodia and those where 90 dollar (?????) have to see wat im going to do as the time difference is not all that great , i suspect that with the plane the trip is more broken up with more options to walk around and see shops and stuff

    Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I already love the supermarket. I will be in Da Nang in February and I’m hoping to get an apartment so I can cook for myself. I am wondering if they have branches in Da Nang? When I travel, I buy local and I don’t care too much about foreign products. Prices seem reasonable, although in my opinion, a little high. Nevertheless, a wonderful supermarket! Do they accept credit cards? And do they carry Durian all year long or certain times of the year? Thanks again.😊😊

    • @perpetuallyabroad
      @perpetuallyabroad 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you very much for your comment! To my knowledge there are only two branches of E-Mart and they are both in HCMC. In the case of Da Nang I am not aware of any large supermarket but I'd guess Winmart or Big C should be available. I always pay by card at E-Mart so that's no issue. Regarding durian I can't say for sure if they carry it year round but I wouldn't be surprised. Durian is not as popular in Vietnam as in other SEA countries so you know. I'm happy to answer any other questions, Take care

    You forgot to mention the amount of criminality - I mean thievery in Vietnam. If it's not pickpockets it's just plain old robbery and theft from the person and property eg cash off buses etc. Every person I have met who has visited Vietnam has been robbed from one degree to another. And that also includes me although they didn't get a lot from me, they did steal around $500 aus dollars from my sister. I understand that many Vietnamese are very poor, however there are no excuses for criminal behaviour.

    Different strokes for different folks! During my recent visit to Saigon I found the city has more trash than ever. The loud conversations in restaurants, especially the high pitch voices from the young females, are rather annoying. It’s hard to enjoy your meal with all the squawking around. I also noticed much fewer westerners visiting. IMHO.

    • @perpetuallyabroad
      @perpetuallyabroad 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Long time no see! I hope you're doing well. Thanks again for your contribution here on the channel. Yeah I completely agree on every point. Yes much less westerners compared to 7-15 years ago, which is evident in the fact that the return rate is so low. A higher influx of first time visitors from India and South Korea specifically

    • @perpetuallyabroad

    Oh you left Vietnam 😢! I followed you when you still spoke in Vietnamese in your Vlog. I understand what you mean as you mentioned 5 “hate” things in Vietnam ! That would be better in a couple of years! Hope u would come back some days 😢

      Thank you for your support! It means a lot. I wouldn't call it hate actually I literally just wanted to share a few things I will really miss about Vietnam and a few minor things that I will not miss. If you only share things you miss it's misleading and fake in my opinion which is not helping anyone. That would be the opposite of authenticity and that's not good for humanity and definitely not for Vietnam's development. I will be back in the future for sure either for business or just travelling

      @@perpetuallyabroad I also wanted to add this as well. It’s their culture that I don’t like where the men in the relationship is supposed to provide everything and the girlfriend saves her money basically “Your money is our money and my money is money” which I think is stupid.

      @@Chr1s808 When it comes to culture nothing is stupid. It's just that you accept it or you refuse from the view of your culture. Western culture kicks their children out of the house when they're 18 years old. Can I call that stupid as well?
