I started this TH-cam channel because I am very passionate about the outdoors, and I wanted to share that passion with others. My goal is to grow this channel so I can share the activities that I feel so thankful to have had the opportunity to pursue. I feel so privileged to get to do the things I get to do, and I hope that my channel helps motivate you to get out and go!! My hobbies require a lot of hard work, but man, it is worth it!! I Caught the SAME FISH TWICE!!! - 8 Months Apart!
What a memory for me to look back on! Last year September 30, 2023, I caught a 36 inch musky and noticed it had a tail that was clipped looking. Early June 2024 I headed out for the evening bite dealing with rainy conditions again... Everyday seemed to rain to start the 2024 musky season. After the fronts passed it became sunny with flat conditions. I decided to go what's been working recently which is pull pause baits. Not long on a good-looking point with weeds I hooked into a musky! After measuring the fish, I noticed it had a clipped tail. Later that evening I went home and looked to see old pictures and noticed I caught the same fish back in 2023! This fish had some really interesting details. One being it was caught less than 500 yards away from where I previously caught it. Second being it never grew in an 8-month time frame. Comment below if you ever have caught the same fish and what your growth rate was. Hope you find this story very interesting!

Nice fish, with an intresting story. I have caught what we believed to be the same musky, two seasons in a row on a small 200 acre lake. It was about 11 Mos, between catches, and the 41 inches grew exactly a 1/4 of an inch in length. Was caught within 50 yds, of the year before. Intresting stuff! Thanks for a great video.
JMO I think it would have grown at least some. It's a nice fish!
Phantom soft tails and Hellhounds are big producers for me , if I’m not catching them I least move a lot of fish I can come back to later on to possibly catch. When I’m on the water I usually have a bucktail spinner, glide bait, and rubber bait whether a Bulldawg, Medussa, or Swimmin Dawg tied on . One of those 3 baits usually gets their attention. Nice fish man! 🎣

I like that you remove the middle treble on that twitch bait. I suppose it makes it easier to unhook from both the fish and the net.

Why are you bump boarding small fish. It removes their slim and puts the fish in danger of infection.

Intentionally targeting Muskies with light tackle makes for far longer than normal fights and far more stress on the fish. If that is the case, please think of the fish and how fragile a Musky fishery can be and use appropriate tackle for Musky fishing.
Was not trying to target was going for pike and bass unfortunately musky ate.

There is literally never a bad time to throw a swimbait. Swim dawgs have accounted for several first Muskies in my boat.
