Serpentine (London) Curators of Arts Technologies Eva Jäger and Tamar Clarke-Brown commission artists working with advanced technologies such as game engines and develop infrastructures for ongoing artistic exploration and interrogation of advanced and emerging technologies through a number of labs, strategic projects and provocations.
In 2021, their team published “Future Art Ecosystems: Art x Metaverse,” a report thatconsiders how the production, perception and experience of art are transforming with the advent of the metaverse.
In this talk, Eva and Tamar draw on their unconventional curatorial work to talk about the experience of remodeling (a part of) a legacy art institution into a platform for artist-led R&D.

      The filmmaker was playing with realities. The second greenscreen shows Haraway living in a typical suburban environment (which she does not) but you get the opportunity to imagine possibilities in the way that Haraway plays with "wild facts" and fabulation.

      Not really because the structure of SF methodology was basically used by Indigenous peoples for tens of thousands of years before colonial models of education became a thing. In a way she is re-appropriating this methodology to teach within colonial institutions for people who subscribe to the hierarchical, colonial model of life in order for other researchers/designers to incorporate science with storytelling.
