Just to confirm, that plastic film on the top of the scale doesn't come off? I just received mine in the mail and it looks odd to leave on, however it also doesn't look like it would come off easily. It appeared from your video you tried to peel it off and then decided to leave it on.
Watched for this exact reason. Busted out laughing after he, like me, attempted to remove it and quickly gave up.
