It did for a while, but after a few months, I managed to figure out how to take it off in my sleep, so it's back to square one.

At the time I had trouble filming it since the space I had available was far too small to fit the pc in the frame with any room to spare. additionally, I overestimated the total runtime, and decided it wasn't going to be engaging enough to do. Slotting in a gpu takes like 30 seconds tops. No way I could make a 5-10 minute video out of that XD

I live in a small apartment, so that's not an option. XD Their whole world consists of 2.5 rooms

I reinstalled, but the whole root directory was gone.

Reinstall and accept that your files are gone!

Long story short, I deleted the content of the OS partition. In effect, all of the components that it needs to boot are there, except for the actual OS

I did that by deleting a mount point to the root directory, and I assumed that would just delete that mount point. Instead it deleted the entire root filesystem.

Even better, my windows machine is in the process of migrating to Mnajaro (as a stable use friendly version of roughly the same thing

Personally, bobovr hasme.rned a lot of trust from me by consistently releasing quality and durable products that can typically be modified, upgraded, or retrofitted to previous and future devices. You may disagree, but it's not easy for a company to get such good will in such a short timeframe.

Although, now that I think about it, I could compare them. A future video idea perhaps?
