I'm fairly new to working with paper. It wasn't until I retired and discovered junk journals, that I started working with paper. I never thought about using a craft knife to cut out the tiny details. I have a small pair of scissors that has sharp tips, which works ok at times. I also like that you said to cut away from the piece you are working on. I do that all the time because the extra paper gets in my way. I don't see the experienced creators doing that, and I feel that I just wasn't good enough. Thank you for your very helpful instructions. BTW, I would have tried cutting around the little circles! LOL ♥️

Looks like such a cute and easy project, Will definitely be purchasing the Christmas version or perhaps both.

I just discovered when I was trying to put this together, the words to the music appeared upside down if you put the seam at the top.

I purchased the Christmas Tea Bag Holder and in the process of watching your video. It is most definitely easier to put together than the blue bird. I will be making more of these since it is so easy. Thank you for redoing this. Can you tell me where you get the bias tape?
