i think im so used to talking with my throat that i cant even do a natural female voice anymore, haha. talking with your throat is useful for this stuff, and it sounds pretty natural. for me personally, i find that singing some of neil cicierega's lemon demon songs help to stretch my vocal cords a bit, specifically songs like "cabinet man", "everybody loves raymond" (yes, thats an actual song, and its good too!) and "when he died" just to name a few, since they have a deeper range but it's still like, in my range. a lot os practise helps and ive gotten far over these several months of talking deeper.
