These Columbia moulded records are so hard to date. I have a dark brown wax moulded cylinder by the Columbia Quartet, in the same 9000 series as this cylinder.

I've got this on a Berliner Concert Grand record from 1901. A very relaxing and lovely song!

A very swell rag indeed by the great two W's in 1901! I love Dan W Quinn he is such a great singer. The record is neat too I only have one in my collection, The Holy City by Harry Macdonough (1901) composed in 1892!

To think this was recorded 123 years ago. My grandma would have been six years old and the Boer War and WWI hadn’t been played out.

this cylinder would date from around late 1897 if I'm correct for the united states phonograph company
