You really didn't explain adjusting the clutch cable at the engine very well. "When it's pulled up towards the handlebars it actually takes more slack out. So we just brought it down a hair to add more cable." What??? That sounds contradictory. Could you be a little more specific please?
@@Jaybiv I was referring to the cable sheath. When the adjustment at the engine case is altered, it changes the cable position within the sheath. I was referring to the cable slack that slowly disappears, as the engine case adjuster is lengthened. In that instance, I was needing more slack up top, so I shortened the adjustment at the case….to provide the adjustment point desired.🍻

Do you need to re route the clutch cable
@@Micky748-r7u No….unless you are running a taller bar setup. OEM placement/setup will not require rerouting. I do sometimes reroute the cable differently than stock, just to provide a straighter routing with less tight curves and bends. The straighter the routing, the smoother the clutch pull.🍻

Does it matter that my cable screws don’t line up when fully screwed in?
Could you make a install video for dirt bikes ? Im guessing same thing just need the spacer ? Thanks for an Awwsum product
i have a crf450x and even with the perch space and cable spacer and it still does not have enough pull to disengage the clutch fully i emailed him to see if he has any suggestions

the stock before measuring the clutch pull was not lube but the new lever were lubricated so it should show some lighter pull.. u should show comparison that both cables are not lubed.. 😁

can you still use this type of lever on the grom even if you dont do wheelies??
Most definitely! The RSC will benefit a rider of any style. Very helpful in traffic and all general riding.🍻
lol of course you can. Why would that matter 😂 that's like saying "can I still get a Grom if I'm not doing wheelies?" Get any clutch lever you want

This is a simple clutch lever install video. There are many options for mirrors. Moose makes a mirror mount perch cap that works great with the RSC, or there are several aftermarket options for mirrors that mount in different locations.🍻

@@joshmiller6679 I ordered a custom perch adapter for RSC levers from a guy in Australia. It matches perfectly. You should really consider making these yourself.

Can you tell me about the dirt bike cable spacer? Im installing this lever on a kx250 dirt bike. Do I need it?
Hello Andrew! If your KX is a newer model with a quick adjuster from the factory, yes....you will need the dirt bike cable spacer. The older models do not require the spacer. Hit me with an email at rsctakeover@gmail.com with any other questions.🍻

Grom has a few sparefuses under the seat. I've just used one of the spare 10amp under the seat

The fuse is a standard automotive fuse, found at your local auto parts store. 10 amp is plenty.🍻
Where do you get the jumper for the clutch wires ? And what’s the reason for it ?

Be sure to clean and lube your RSC at least once a year, to maintain flawless performance. I recommend an engine assembly lube such as Lucas assembly lube. If that is not available, any heavy oil such as gear oil will suffice. Email me at rsctakeover@gmail.com with any questions. Live easy....ride hard!
Where did you find the fuse for the clutch?
what "strength" or whatever its called should i have on my fuse? doesnt matter?
i put a 5A i believe in mine and it works great
