Hello Phil, I found your channel and discovered that you are also from Brazil haha, I worked with Java for 9 months and I didn't perform well and ended up losing the opportunity. And after 4 years I decided to apply myself and I am following your roadmap and taking courses too, keep sharing your videos that I believe have helped many people.
check out my playlists Phil
would you think that the marked for applying job is more competitive for front end developers or Java?
Phil is phiiine … ❤
Always good to see clean clear crisp clips on Java. Thanks. I have some experience working with Java & SpringBoot. I have used Java8’s Lambdas & Streams but am not that confident with it and have always relied on google/stackoverflow to get those lambdas formulated. Reading a book is a tough way to hammer things in my brain, My 1st question is - what’s a good source to refresh Java8 kinda want to relearn it better & stick to it. (2nd) you mentioned the book OCJP JAVA 17 and I see no link or author name or reference to it in description? Also which JDK version certification should an intermediate guy like me target? Please advise. Thanks & Happy Learning! 😊
Just don't
Big thanks 🙏 from tanzania, ur new subscriber 👍
what happened?
I am a senior Java developer with 15 years of experience. I want to Start as a freelancer, may I know how and where to check and how to start the work.
Java is a great language that's fast and easy to maintain. It's par for the course in enterprise. Anyone who says otherwise has never worked in a regulated industry.
Your english is perfect and clear, i am learning english and is so hard to find someone with a pronunciation so perfect how your
Hi Phil, Thanks for your videos it's a great share. Could you assist me in getting a freelance Java role (Remote roles)? I have 8 years of experience in the industry specializing in Java Backend development.
I think rather be garbage man than to touch java.
Why
90% of this video was “move to a different country and create LLC before getting a client” nothing about how to structure your product and sell to customers.
I am full-stack developer in china. java is best language in the world .
That’s not a true statement. Java is a language in the world - that’s a true statement.
4:40 You program linear algebra calculations?
That was just an example. Can’t expose my clients projects on TH-cam for obvious reasons.
Only silly talks no content at all man boring
I’m sorry I couldn’t be on par to your high standards. Let’s connect on LinkedIn, I’d love to discuss what you think would be interesting to watch. Have a great day!

You’re welcome John Doe
there is lots of java jobs, because that search includes javascript results too:)
JavaScript is a different story. Platforms that provide search capabilities for work they usually know how to differ Java and JavaScript.
@@learn_with_phil Unfortunately no, linkedin search results does not know difference between java and javascript. when you search 'java', it first shows java results, and after that, shows javascript results too. So that count is java + javascript jobs on linkedin.
Are you still producing contents bro?
Not lately
I've just started my Java learning journey and these are the videos that sort of motivates and keeps me going.
You can do it!
Great video n context brother! I have a question .. there are different versions of Java what do you need to think about when choosing a Java version? Do one always go for the latest ? Or one not so old but yet newer version? Does the company you work for later tell you which version to pick? And another question, with so many online courses to pick from what do you need to look for when choosing a course that is good? Cheers!
That is a great question you should strive for using the latest stable Java versions. If your project is new you will probably go with the latest stable version for Java. But if you’re joining a team that is already running on Java, probably they’re gonna have a version that it’s not the latest, it’s gonna be in there list of priority upgrade Java version. It’s important to use the latest Java versions for many reasons that I want to explain here of course but you should definitely strive to use the latest. It doesn’t really matter what course is the best you don’t need the best course you need a course.
Bro don't stop put regular video you're doing well, it takes time ❤ your new subscriber

Hey Phil, Do you think to start a Java Learning series ?

Me trying to learn English, JAVA and Arduino -_-
Here, in Russia, requirements for Java Junior or Java intern are hellish: Java Core, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate ORM, Spring Framework, JS, JS Framework and many many other technolodgies. And there are about 10 vacancies for intern in Moscow and less than 100 in the whole country!
How to get started: have five years experience with a FAANG company.
Thank you for share!
You did not talk about logging, exception handling and debugging. Without these how can you become a Java developer?????????? Mr
You are Amazing bro, clear explanation. Please keep post videos, long time no show
This is still being suggested by youtube. I just got a job as a java developer.
