For me, what every Makoto Shinkai movie represents is "Nothingness". Being lost watching out the window without any thought, just pure emptiness. Sitting on the grass wondering about NOTHING. Looking at the sky and just thinking about nothing. Being lost in a world where you don't have to think and answer, where you don't have to tread each step carefully, its not a world I want to be in, its one I have been in.
