Speed stuff is so much easier now. My sessions are also a lot longer due to me not getting tired anywhere near as fast.
Comparing to my new Quest 3S to my old Samsung Odyssey Plus, the controllers are obviously a massive upgrade (way better ergonomics making accuracy a lot more predictable and way lighter at 122g vs the old 188g), tracking quality was fine before but is now pretty much flawless, tracking range is *greatly* increased (old headset would lose tracking when my hands were resting as the cameras do not have enough range below the headset, would also take much longer to recover once back in range), comfort is much better and audio is really nice. The field of view is one of the greatest losses in my opinion as it's a lot narrower, and also the display being an LCD panel instead of an OLED. The lenses are a lot nicer though!
As for actually playing, it's taking some time to adapt, I have gotten okay-ish at controlling my swings in the week and a half I've been playing but I'm still overswinging a fair bit. My aim also needs work, as there's an entirely new playstyle now open to me that I've only barely touched the surface of in my 350 hours of playing.
Off to a brand new chapter!
