Electric Start Fire Fighting Pump
Water and electricity, do they mix? Apparently they makes very well on a Power Bee 894 with electric start.

I wish I would've discovered this tool a couple years ago. No telling how much time I would've saved... I saw some automotive mechanics using a bigger version, and design this tapered ring compressor specifically for the Power Bee engine's bore.

This Rokon Capable engine is able to go into Rokon, with a couple quick mods. You’ll be required to move over your head mount. I’ve marked the head cover to indicate where you need to drill the mounting holes, if you don’t want to move your old head mount over.

This 151cc Power Bee engine is the biggest Power Bee ever made for a Rokon. It has the 3/4” PTO for universal clutch options. Big Bore cylinder that has been boosted ported for 33% more fuel flow. It has a 1.75” Stroker crank installed, and a few other minor upgrades to the bearings and reed cages. It’s intended for the silver bike from the cover photo.

Is there enough clearance on a rokon for the electric start?
I remember seeing an article about the micro mini bike in Popular Mechanics back in the Fall of 1969. I was a 10 year old towheaded adolescent. 😊❤
I believe you're referring to the Tom Thumb bike. That was definitely one of the inspirations for Evan when he designed this RCF Micro Mini Bike.
It sounds so amazing 😍
Thanks
Wow awesome
Thank you! Cheers!
What!? Is there a way to mod mine to E-start?
Anything is possible. With the right parts (and enough money) you certainly can.
I have 2 of these configured for drones. Would really like to make them electric start.
That would be cool
God bless America🎉
Yes!
Hey man, I’ve been checking out your website, I’m assuming you upgrade these engines and that comes with an extra price? I heard the company still produces the 820s in their stock form but can’t seem to find where they’re sold? I live in New Zealand so shipping is expensive but I’m very interested in getting one of them shipped down here
I assume that's you who just joined my Facebook Group. I make stock engines, and custom high performance engines. I am the Company.
Love the crocks
Always!
Let's test it against, a500 Honda 2 stroke for most powerful
I support the test. Although my videos are specific to Power Bee 2 stroke engines and the statement was meant to be in reference to other (older) versions of the Power Bee, I bet there's a way to do some sort of power to weight/size formula to see which is best.
Looks great! What is the estimated HP? Thanks
Approximately 12hp
In the late sixties we had one on a go-kart and it would fly then I put it on a mini bike and it would fly single cylinder honeycomb
They are fast
I assume this requires a different flywheel and starter plate of some kind??
Sort of. The part you're talking about is the "Support Plate" and yes it's modified to house a starter. They flywheel is the same, however the back has been machined so that a gear could be added to it.
That's pretty awesome 😎
Im here from the briggs Facebook group😃
Aren't we all
Nice engine. Can you tell me wehre you got the carb?
I get them out of the parts drawer/cabinet. But you can order carbs from my website: www.PowerBeeEngine.com
🙏🙏🇩🇪🇩🇪
Thanks
How much for one and how much power does it make.
Prices range from $700-$1800. And power ranges from 7hp to 16hp. You can check them out on my website. www.PowerBeeEngine.com
How many horsepower is the Power Bee? Thanks.
A stock one is 8-10hp. My most powerful custom engine is just over 16hp

Congratulations, MAJ. Great you’re already covering a MAJ’s position. Best wishes for your future. A retired LTC.
Thanks so much!
Sounds just like a big old chain saw. Needs an expansion chamber.
That’s always up to the buyer. I just build them, test them, and sell them. Customers get to pick their own accessories. An expansion chamber would definitely add some extra grunt to it!
Can this be installed on new rokon fourstrokes to replace factory engine😊
No. The frames aren’t the same.
Ok l start looking for a classic to add to the stable then l will have 3.
awesome awesome setup
Thanks
Where can I get this linkage setup?
On my website. PowerBeeEngine.com
@@PowerBeeEngine thank you!
What is the usual horsepower output for these?
Stock engine would be about 8-10hp. This one is 13-15hp
THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!! SUCH A SIMPLE, AND EFFICIENT USE OF MATERIALS!!!!!
Thank
Super
Thanks
Buzz-Bomb! Awesome!
Thanks
Performance might be good... but no way I'd want to be anywhere near this noisy engine. Mufflers are a GOOD thing.
Thanks
you got soft hands
Wtf is this? Whys it is ny feed TH-cam..
This is the test fire video I made for one of my customer’s custom built engine. As far as your feed goes, I can’t help with that. However, now that you’ve engaged the video by commenting, you’re definitely going to see more engine and Rokon videos. Thanks for checking out my video.
Does you phone turn sideways, or is it stuck in the TikTok setting,
You’ll see various orientations in my videos, however most are wide rather than tall. It really just depends on what the main purpose of the video is. You can see from my subscriber count, this channel isn’t anything special, or meant to draw in millions of views. Also, I’m building engines, it’s pretty safe to assume I don’t even have TikTok.
Wreck it ralph
Yep
Great engine upgrade for a Rokon! Sounds terrific, this will pull the load.
I hope so!
Whats the displacement?
9.23ci (151cc)
Hi I have a question, do the numbers of the engines directly correlate with their displacement? Just curious what exactly they refer to, for example a 940 vs a 930, or an 857. Thanks :)
Yes. A 820 is an 8.2ci, a is 8.94ci, a 940 is 9.4ci, etc… great question, thanks.
@@PowerBeeEngine ohh very interesting thanks for the clarification!
89cc or 94cc? Either way it is a cool looking 2 stroke
150cc
Hp?
6.5hp

What is the difference between the PVL coils 455 140 and 460 190... can either be used on the stock 820..tks jim
The 455 140 is an analog coil. Very basic design with built in ignition chip module. The 460 190 is a very advanced design. Technically superior in every way. It is digitally programmed to fire at a very low 300rpm @ 26deg BTDC, which allows for easy recoil starting. Once the 460 190 hits 1000 rpm, the timing advances to 44deg BTDC, and timing does fade as RPMs increase, like the 455 140 does. It has a built in 9000rpm rev limit, so it won't over rev and explode. Now some consider that rev limiter as a drawback because they want to race and push the engine to the limits and beyond. Fortunately for those people, we still hav the analog 455 140 without the built in rev limiter. It doesn't have the other features, but at least you can rev it until it explodes.
Thank you for the informatiom... Jim
Looks good. Clear-coat?
Yes
I want one! Luv the sound, but nothing to put it on :( Who manufacturers these? I know there was a company US Motors or something that did the US820 but I think they closed?
I manufacture these. Just a dude with a hobby and a passion. Check out the website PowerBeeEngine.com
I am about to do the coil swap as you demonstrated, my question is how do you adjust the timing?
You don’t. You set the coil to mid-range, just as the manual states. Then leave it alone.
Were the WB engines also sold in "McCulloch" yellow 🐥?
Not when West Bend owned them. Decades later they were sold in Yellow when U.S. Motor Power owned the engine. This isn’t McCulloch yellow, but close enough to understand the comparison.
Nice job! Had one as a kid, it was a beast!
Thanks
12/4/2023 watch out for the little holes thank you
1/4/2024 I will
Have you tried this engine on a Rokon trail bike ?
Of course. This engine was built for a Rokon
What is the advantage of the aluminum gasket over the composite? Wouldn't the thinner gasket produce higher compression?
Yes, thinner = more power. The advantage of aluminum is longer life.
Isn't the piston unbalanced by this cut-out?
No.
