I just read The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kate Barnhill. It was so un-put-down-able!

I really loved this book! ❤

I could not get through this one, just kept putting it down. Glad I did not miss anything and I can return it to the library!

The only author I'll never read is Kelly Barnhill. I had extremely bitter experience reading her book the girl who drank the moon. Very amateur writing style and everything in that book seemed unnatural and forceful. It was so repetitive. I struggled to finish the book and wasted my time finishing it. 😢 Please let me know if anybody else share the same experience with that book or it's just me.

My library didn't have Everything Else in the Universe, witch didn't surprise me, and I ordered it from another library and it came in today. I can not renew it so I have to read it right away. I hope I enjoy it and remember it in mid May. I should maybe take notes.😊

I read Simon Sort of Says for last year’s MGM. It was amazing. Looking forward to reading the other two books that are already on my TBR. MGM book club is a great excuse to pick them up.

I’m most excited to read The Castle of Tangled Magic because it has been on my tbr, I even had it on Libby recently but didn’t have time to read it. I think I’ll buy this one, I read most books on my phone and I much prefer holding pages in my hand.

Hi! I'm late to the live, but I just finished the book last night. I absolutely loved it! I feel like it was overwhelming and choppy for a reason. The police and everyone were very overwhelmed and confused, so I feel like the author made the book a bit confusing to make us readers feel the same way. I really want to see the Mona Lisa now, lol.

I missed the live but am doing the rewatch. I loved the book. To be honest at first I felt it was a hard read because I was thinking with a fiction mind. When I realized it was non-fiction it completely changed my perspective.

Hello! Watching this late, but here are some my favorite MG authors: Gary D. Schmidt, Jason Reynolds, Madeleine L'Engle, Karina Yan Glaser, Sharon Creech, Celia Perez, Gennifer Choldenko, KBB, Ruth Behar. I can see Erin Bow becoming a favorite in the future (Simon Sort of Says was so good). I just finished Chance to Fly by Ali Stroker and A Soft Place to Land by Janae Marks and they were great! I am about to begin The True History of Lyndie B. Hawkins and I hope to get the audiobook for Ruth Behar's new book, Across So Many Seas.

finished Flora and Ulysses. It’s either gonna be a book I missed out on since it came out in 2013. I am reading Crenshaw by Katherine Appellgate ( either one word title or animal on the cover). it’s on Kindle Unlimited. And I started the audiobook of A Wrinkle in Time because I want to finish that series probably not all this month.

I like the change to quarterly for the book club. It will be so much easier to keep up with. Simon Sort of Says is an amazing book. I read it for MGM last year and it was one of my two favorites.

Newbery weekend! What a great idea! Well, I have some more recent books by Cynthia Voigt on hold at the library. I want to delve deeper into her books since I remembered her book, Dicey's Song, for thirty years since reading it as a child.

I am currently reading Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt which is the first book in a series which I remember reading book two of during my 6th grade year. I plan to read book 2, called Dicey's Song, next week.

So I don’t usually listen to TH-cam while I drive, but I don’t have a current audio book and needed something to listen to quick! Gah! So many great book recs! I am definitely adding The Westing Game to my TBR for a book I missed out on.
