I delivered to every place, built the roads but I took all my brinklink at 93% and pushed all my materials up to the mountains and built this awesome grid zipline throughout up there. Most of the connectivity I had to use for the structures. Level 3 ziplines*. Took a long while!. Lol but managed to have 2 safe houses and shelter/generators/mailbox etc and multiple stations along my grid for easy access. No more walking anywhere up there for me. Took a long time!. Lol. Looks mint now. Below I have only a few things in the first 3 areas needed for my travels. The mountain was the biggest and deadliest walk each time. Got sick of it!. Now I'm gold*. ;)P

If you stick to the main story, which I did in my first play through, you miss out on some really great equipment. For eg. the backback cover from the collector.

Once you get to Ruins 1, don't bother mining/gathering the small rocks outside. A few days at the ruins will get you all the stone & ores you need for a few weeks of non-stop furnaces. I only mine the big rocks (upgraded pickaxe) for the marbles & blood stones

Just bought this on sale at £2.75 so had to get it. These tips will help me get started, thanks 😊

What I would add, (it's just a personal preference) is when mining and digging for the lights go back to a specific spot and dig from there. When all spots are gone dig in one direction and search for new spots there. I always dug uncoordinated and now I created an enormous labyrinth down there and can't remember where I had to stop last time so I have to find new spots, which takes an eternity. Also the ores in the mines are color coded. If you need a specific ore just try different stone colors and if you find it dig up all the right colored stone. The stones outside are also color coded. Some things can only be found in specific stones.

I would like to add 1 more tip I enjoyed: You can trade stone for wood at A&G construction which makes mining even more useful.

A great way to supplement your wood supply is to mine 999 stone. Sounds crazy, but check this out - A&G Construction has a 1:1 conversion rate for stone and wood, so you can get all the wood you'll ever need by mining...killing two birds with one stone! XD

You’ll want to make a bonsai pot or two to make trees automagically. Just put it on a chest, put dirt and a sapling into it, add a hopper and an axe and it will automatically harvest trees till the durability gives out on the axe. A beehive will let you get some extra items from some trees. Fortune and efficiency effect drops and speed.

You’ll find you can make torches by placing sticks on a campfire. You can just hold down the right button with a pile of sticks and have an entire stack quickly for nothing.
