EPIWVE 23: This £30,000+ Pokemon Collection Was Insane! (The Kent Card Show - September 2024)
This did not disappoint...
We hit up The Kent Card Show at the Ashford International Hotel for their second-ever show, hosted by The Sub Center. It was Pokémon card heaven - and we were definitely NOT prepared for the holy grail(s) moment when we saw a £30,000+ collection of cards. I may have briefly considered selling a kidney for one of them… but I digress.
We entered some giveaways (fingers crossed), bumped into a few familiar faces from TH-cam, and even got a chance to battle it out in some Pokémon pack battles! I also continued my very serious “investment strategy” of buying Pokémon booster packs… purely for the economy, of course.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just here to see me try (and probably fail) to complete my own 151 collection, this show had everything from rare grails to a ton of fun!

First time for us on a Friday it was so quiet we walked round in 40 minutes. We came all the way from Bristol not many seller stalls. We also went to the one in Cardiff which was also a disappointment that was small. Also we agree with you 100% the MCM ones are the best can’t wait for Birmingham, see you guys there x
I’m sorry to hear that guys! We have our honest take and unfortunately LFCC is gone downhill majorly, I’m hoping they will step it back up otherwise it might eventually die out. MCM is definitely up there, we’ll be at the October one in London, and a couple other conventions in between - come say hi if you see us! 💪🏻
