So if a drink package is purchased on day 2, do they charge for day 2 onwards or day 1 onwards?

Thanks for this video as I just booked this hotel for early January for a crossing I am doing on the Bliss. I'm using IHG points and will let you know how it goes. I've stayed at a variety of IHG properties (I am Platinum Elite) but have never stayed at an EVEN.

Can you explain the difference between the Premium Beverage Pkg and the Premium Plus Beverage Pkg?

Hi, I am not a cruiser, but we are looking at their Hawaiian cruise. I just got off of the phone with NCL Unlimited Open Bar. They claim that it includes everything (I think except bottles of wine were 20% off). I asked about mixed frozen drinks and they said it would be included. you guys talk about 4 different packages - is it just one package now? Thanks!

Things change so quickly... I am so unhappy with this change. We always get FAS Plus which included Water, Pellegrino, Starbucks, and Champaign, and Bottles of Wine at restaurants breakfast, lunch and dinner). Not to mention Unlimited Wi-Fi, 4 Specialty dining and $50 0ff Shore Excursions for passengers 1,2 and gratuities are included. So I tip cash on top. I am the first to admit Free at Sea is a wallet drain as there are so many hidden costs on top of taxes and gratuities for food and beverages consumed. It was a trap for sailors who like to PRESS the EZ-button and don't read the fine print. The key to WINNING is to purchase Free at Sea PLUS which is the real bargain and I take advantage of all of these perks on board and walk off the ship with ZERO balance bill. This package is inexpensive and priceless.Why am I so unhappy with this change to More At Sea in 2025?No more... - Bottled Water, Pellegrino, Fresh Squeezed Juice, Premium Brands - Starbucks (unlimited) - Champaign, and Bottles of Wine at restaurants breakfast, lunch and dinner (it is not how much you drink; No need for an abacus, for us it is the quality of what we consume, I like Red, he likes White. We don't want to drink anything we would not drink at home (e.g.: drink of the day) on vacation, perhaps something we do not care for, and or something that has been re-corked for who knows how long.) - Unlimited Wi-Fi - this is a necessity especially in case of emergency, make phone calls and stay connected. - 4 Specialty dining -- We never eat at the buffet - $50 0ff Shore Excursions for passengers 1,2. - Gratuities are included for all on-board (mealls ande drinks) purchases. Down side is if you skip the first day you loose the discount on pre buying the drink package. I’m cruising in October on ncl and my wife and I got the unlimited premium package for both of us, all taxes, and gratuity for like 880 bucks for a 4 day cruise. Something like 30 plus dollars off per person per day.

Delta airlines snafu caused us to miss the islander on July 21. For a $150 fee they are holding the money I spent on the trip for future cruise. Better than loosing it

Only 900 passengers on our 9/15 cruise. No waiting anywhere, lots of seats for all shows. Now serving thin crust pizza during the day, thick crust at night. Both styles are good. Stayed on ship as long as we could for disembarkation due to having afternoon flights. They ask everyone to leave at 8:30am, we walked off the ship at the atrium and right through customs!

Thank you for this cruise series. It really helped us prepare for our cruise. Our group of 7 returned on 9/20 and all the negatives reported were corrected on our cruise. No cold food and they were constantly using thermometers on the buffet. This was our 15th cruise....1st on Margaritaville and we will definitely be back soon! We had an amazing time.

We're going on an NCL 7 day cruise next week. We've examined all the drinks packages in detail, but none of them suit my friend and I. At most we'll probably have a couple of glasses of wine per night. My friend occasionally drinks soda, but only 1-2 a day, whereas I rarely drink the stuff. I detest Starbucks coffee, so I'll be bringing my own decaff coffee sachets with me and making my own drinks for the duration, thank you.

Is there a way to add just the unlimited Starbucks package to the free at sea drink package? We do not drink alcoholic beverages.

On our NCL last October, the package we had included wi-fi, 2 specialty dinner nights, excursion credit (which just about paid for it) plus cocktails and bottles of wine from the upper left of the wine list. It also included "bottlled" water. They were more like cartons. But one can always get water from the buffet. Just remember to fill a glass first then your bottle.
