NW SALMON SLAYERS
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 9 มี.ค. 2022
Creating this channel to share our fishing adventures here in the Northwest. My friends and I are into salmon fishing primarily.
We will try to create a fun channel to watch when you can't get on the water yourself. We are by no means experts at this, but are very passionate about salmon fishing. Hopefully this site will get others involved and excited about salmon fishing as well.
I will try to show how we go about it, hoping to help those new to the sport. Feel free to comment , as we are always looking to try new techniques that may make our catch rate better as well. Just getting started here, so subscribe and we will get to Slayin'

Nice I’ve pulled in 5 coho this month around that spot!
Do you know if the mouth of Tualatin is any good?
Are you trolling up stream of Roger’s landing boat ramp or down stream?
Define upper willamette? Above West Linn, Wilsonville, Salem?
I’ve seen some big fish in newberg lately Do you ever get chinook on this stretch?
They definitely pass through. Most guys just anchor near the island.much better chances catching chinook below the falls or Columbia if open however.
5 hard clubs, are you sure it's dead? lol
HELL YEAH!!
FINALLY! A fisherman that talks like a fisherman while recording!! Loved it! " That's a Fuckin Beast" No Fuckin Jack's this time!!
Wow that’s a flat ocean!
Dude with the green shirt needs to hand off his rod after keeping his two fish limit. Shows you are a Ass Hole to your friends.
Looks beautiful and fun
Nice coho and man that’s huge for a coho!!!
How do you run the Rockstar? Like behind a 360 or what? And any weight.. also what a fish for a upper fall bright!
Just tie it to your line direct and it is designed to dive on its on. Play around with how much line you let out 20-50 feet work well
Thank you sir for the info!
Wasn't a fall bright! It was a Silver, didn't you watch the video? Flatline a Rockstar.
What boat launch are going out of?
Newberg
thank you
It was a F-in beast , nice work!Just subscribed, Im hooked. Ha. And your on my home stretch that I really want to learn . I've lived in Newberg since 2003 and have only caught Bass 😆.
Nice! Yea its a real nice time of year when you can catch such nice fish close to home!
do you use any weight with those wiggle warts? Nice fish
No, it will dive on its own. Put it out about 32 feet on your line counter
how do you rig your wiggle warts for trolling, never used these before but going to give it a try
Just tie it directly to your line, easiest fishing, and lot of fun!
I want one lol
Told ya to go for a boat ride lol
"I just caught a fuckin beast" lol, nice work
Looks like yamhill
dinner 🎣
Put in ? Try the mouth of the Mo, it's a good spot
It’s a little late for that no?
@@nathanh.4564 congregation spot they like the cold water , there are plenty bright coho up the m river, even will find them on the lower river if you know where to look , I have picture proof
Nice! What's your river depth where you're trolling?
15-30ft he was out like 7 pulls
That is the dead zone
Maybe turn off your clickers?
Love it when that rod tip bounces guys. Can't wait till Coho hit Puget Sounds.
Nice!!!!!!
Always scary trying to net those fish with that big chunk o lead and barbless hooks good job you guys!
very cool Springers are Yummy and so precious Thanks for the video!
Good to see a 2023 video from you guys! Great work 🎉
Nice work!!! The number of almost disasters that occurred had me nervous...first net guy should never be allowed to touch a net again, dude almost gets clocked 3 times with heavy lead on second fish, then net man almost stabs a guy in the face on the 2nd fish...you guys are lucky life flight wasn't called that day. Nice work catching 2 keepers though, way to go!!!
I Learn something new every day! Nice technique, Buddy!
Nice job!
Wiggle wart?
New way is the wifes crazy fish dance
I enjoy watching you videos
Appreciate your videos and recommendations on the plugs. What area have you been fishing recently, is this the upper Willamette somewhere? Thanks.
Thanks, yes upper Willamette
Love your videos. What river is that? THANK YOU.
Willamette River
why don't you guys throw out a swim bait as you're sliding to a stop? Often there are fish that will hit those as they're close to the hooked fish. You might also not slow down so quickly & give yourself a chance for a double or thriple.
Thats good advice! We are new to tuna fishing , appreciate your help!
Hello, My favorite cousin Floyd Jones. Just told me about you. And he said I should go subscribe to your channel and always share them so have done both. I so happy Floyd did. Because I loved it.
Awesome! Floyd had a hot pole that day tuna fishing! Thanks for subscribing and welcome to the show!
We’re heading out Tuesday to try our hand at tuna. Any insights on where to go?
Not sure , we are going out Wed. Take a look at ifish.net, you should be able to find recent success locations
Thank you
Brings back some great memories thanks for taking me fishing
Any problems with the side rods trolling at that speed?
No, initially we were worried about breakage of the rod holders from hard hit, but wasn’t a problem and all lines kept from tangling!
That’s good to know. Thanks.
I just fished with one of your buddies, Floyd. We’ve been fish camp friends for a couple years now. Maybe me could fish together sometime.
Absolutely, have Floyd give Mark your number
usefu lview, 🤓
Hey slayers were were you?
Just outside of Depoe Bay start at about 214 ft out
Where do you get the flasher.
Hey Kevin, I’ve been making own and testing them out , apparently I can’t post a picture here, so I’ll try to get a video here in the future
where did you get that flasher?
Good question! Lol, That’s a flasher I made.
Nice fish. Multnomah channel?
Thanks, and yes
