Great fireworks! What phone are you using to shoot this video? Very much impressed with the quality
@@emcproducer cheers! I just took it on the Pixel 8 Pro. I find the quality on photos hit and miss (but that may just be done to my lack of skill!) but video comes out quite well
Cheers, I think you done an excellent job there bud. I actually went inside the park to see the fireworks. Was the fireworks display still pretty good to watch from where you was standing? @@Lifebikescars
@@emcproducer thanks. Yeah it was a great spot. We were just outside the kids play area bit. Visibility great, plus as soon as it finished, we were away with no crowds!
What are the tires size on it?
Never mind, it’s 205/50/17
@@vintfromby was about to say, I think they are 205/50/17. The original tyres should be Pirelli but I can't remember the model!
Excellent video and great knowledge of all the tips & tricks in this beautiful car and I also love the colour
@@terryboy1235 thanks for your kind words 👍
Great video, do you know if the black edition A5’s have the sequencing light animations included? I know they have the matrix LEDs but unsure of the sequenced (dancing) lights
@@mndabest7 hi there, thanks for your comment! No, this was just before they introduced the welcome light sequence. I'm not sure if it's been added to the my23/24 models
Great video!
Thank you!

Thankyou for the video, saved me a headache, just got new tyres put on and the car instantly had a freak out 😂 cheers
No problem 👍
electric only benefit the government, only self charging cars are "green" and "saving the planet, because of the mpg once an electric car is at the end of its life it doesn't get fully get recycled keeping it on the roads for an average 20 years, ev sales in china rely on all modern country governments to buy their fleets of public buses also amazon electric vans etc, and if it wasn't for those major sales, electric cars would've been reserved as a toy for rich people, like the bankrupt fisker, and even though before inflation in 2015 a proton made in malasia was sold in uk for around £7500 and in japan and vietnam now in 2024 the toyota corolla and toyota champ sells for around 10 grand brand-new with zero mileage the cost of production of a toyota hybrid, which is the most reliable hybrid in the world, compared to the chinese ev's made by exploitation of employees, ccp doesent pay overtime, and tragic deaths occur, around £1500 is how that chinese ev will cost , and alibaba a temu is the horrific proof, from all the lives lost, which is where the 3rd world country quality control starts, it never existed, a basic search shows hundreds chinese ev's cath fire when charging and spontaneously go up in flames while the driver is driving it, so why do all the chinese ev buses on uk roads never ever catch electric fire, because uk government fixes those faulty vehicles because the uk government couldn't afford it if the whole of the uk sued uk government, and in china nobody sues the ccp and biggest joke of a quote of the government is, government cares about the planet but taxpayer has to pay for it, thats why electric cars used to have roadtax but not anymore, and when it was advertised first it was shown as zero, it will cost nothing except maintenance to recharge, also the extra one a half hours of time per each long journey, those hours were you put in for work that you didn't get paid for, look man, if i loved my job that much, i'd do the same, good for you
Thx
Hi what if the tyre pressure says unavailable and won’t let me restore it ? I just got new tyres installed
Hi, that sounds like there's an issue with one of the TPS (tyre pressure sensor)You may need to visit the dealership to diagnose
Mine is the 5 speed Manual, it's a great car.
I bet it’s a bit more of an engaging drive with the manual! They are great cruiser tbf
Can you do audi Q2 2024 ?
I'm not longer at Audi unfortunately so don't have access to them anymore. However, the majority of features are the same. You can check out one of my other videos for info on the virtual cockpit as the functionality will be similar. Hope that helps 👍
Someone like this comment....Just do it for this Audi Q2. I LOVED THIS VIDEO

Superstar. Thanks so much
What do you mean “rear view camera on this model” ?? All Audis have a rear view camera! What the heck? lol
They don't (or didn't for MY2021) Was an option on A1, Q2 and A3. Anything above was standard
Thank you so much 😊 i thought i would have to take the car to the garage but i managed to sort iy because of your video

Tesla make owning an EV very EASY. They just work
Hi there. I have an A1 Sport on order, and I have no tech packages. What does the "View" button on the steering wheel do? I haven't been able to find out what it does, except for change the view if you have the £3,000 tech package.
I am curious about your comment on the future of EV's and in particular the ability of the infostructure to handle the increased demand for electricity.. How do you see that issue being solved?
Honestly, I can't see how it would ever work. If every vehicle on the road had to be electric the existing network would be need to increase massively in my opinion. Electric vehicles, along with other alternative fuels and an option is certainly the way future motoring needs to go. I just think everybody is under the impression (and in all fairness, the way the idea seems to be sold) that there is going to be a blanket ban of all fossil fuel vehicle, whether that be powered by an alternative fuel or not. And if that was case, the current network couldn't cope
@@LifebikescarsI have to agree with you in that if we changed completely to EV with the current grid and generating capacity then we would struggle but that is not going to happen. Not only will the change take another 15 to 20 years at least EV's have one major advantage over all other forms of alternative fuels, the basic generating capacity and distribution network is already in place and has been for the last 100 years. Yes it will need to expand but if you were a generating company seeing an expansion in demand for your product would you not look to expand your operation to meet that demand? People forget that our major transport network was almost entirely electric prior to 1910 and when petrol took over there was no production or distribution network for petrol at all and it started in most parts of the world buying it from the local chemist in halt gallon tins.
As someone considering a hybrid or full electric next year to replace either of the households 2 cars which both avg 27-31mpg. This is helpful. Tesla has been very proactive in setting up its charging stations which is a huge benefit.
The Tesla supercharger network is very good. It does have a few dead spots, particularly around the south east but for the most, you can navigate the whole of the UK with minimal stress. Also it’s handy that you can just pull up and plug the charger in, and all the costing is automatic to your account. With the rest of the network, you need an account/app for each provider. You then need to go into the app each. Sounds like minimal effort, but when your phone has poor reception, or the app doesn’t want to respond, or you need to supply a load of information to sign, these little niggles can really start to grind and upset your day!
new Renault austral would do that trip on less than 10 quid full hybrid no charging no waiting full ev is a waste of time
220 miles at over £6 a gallon ... Not sure about that ..
That is quite impressive. Judt a point, how long woukd you say it takes to visit a petrol station a fill up with fuel, on average? It's still got to be a good 10-15mins activity by the time you pull up, wait for a pump to become free, fill up, go in and pay, etc etc. The time element of stopping for a charge isn't too far off that. Plus, if I had the car on charge at home, that would minimise my stopping, but I rarely charge at home
get rid of that Tesla junk.
Thanks for the advice. They certainly aren't the pinnicle of cars but I've got to be honest, it's certainly not a bad day to day car..and far better than a lot of things I've driven. Can I just ask why you think they are junk?
Wow, it has a Jaguar key !
😂 yes. And also the Aston Martin of that era! Means this Fiesta is prestige by association 🧐
Interesting video, unfortunately non teslas like my ix3, have to deal with gridserve and ionity etc, which are often full , broken and also very expensive at 70p per kw
Absolutely, the story for non Tesla EV is very very different. I wouldn’t be able to carry out the same journey, or have done the past 35k+ miles with such ease without the supercharger network.
Avoid Gridserve unless not during the day, but I've done Oxford to york and back in a day, 1 charge at ionity Leeds for 30 mins... Easy
220 and you had to charge .. wow.. my e-niro would have done that without a charge. Even in the winter with heavy rain..(cold rain is a real range killer)
@@maxsec2 to be fair, it would've done it on one charge there and back too. (if I had started on a full 100%) But I prefer to graze charge, which I think is the best way to use an EV. If I can charge when it suits me rather than having to stop out of necessity. For example, on this journey, I was ready to stop to have a break because of the early start, so it was a natural opportunity to top up the charge.
@@maxsec2 not the only no Tesla charger I used to use was Podpoint, particularly when it used to be free at Tesco 😂. The main issue I found with the charging network if finding a charging with a decent kW output. 50kW to charge a full EV is no fun at all!
Brilliant just bought Q2 for my daughter and your video just explained everything she needs to know,a lot better than reading the Audi book thanks again😃👍
You’re welcome! Glad it helped. Hope your daughter enjoys her Q2 👍
Most informative video on the a1 Audi so far! Thank you 😊
You’re welcome. Thanks for your kind comment 🙂
Can you change the voice of the voice command system?
Unfortunately not. That would be a good mod actually!
This was helpful, thanks
Thanks absolutely brilliant and useful video - pissed about for 15mins trying to turn off the warning light - 2mins of watch your video l successful turned it off. Not sure I would have found out how to do this had I not watched your video
Thanks for your comment. Glad it helped!
Thanksss
🫶🙏🏻
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. Is that check engine signal always on?
You're welcome! No, the check engine stays illuminated when the ignition is on but the engine hasn't yet started. Obviously, if the engine light comes on while the engine is running, it will light because there is an issue. Hope that helps. Thanks
@@Lifebikescars Thank you very much. It really helps.
Hey i know im late to the party:P One question. Does Google Maps appear in the small screen as well? Is there an option for that?
Hi, no worries! Do you mean on the virtual cockpit? If you have satellite map view set, then yes it will bring through the Google powered map view (note, it is not truly Google maps) However, depending on the age of the car, you may find the Google type maps has disappeared because in the in built data package has expired. You may be able to contact you local audi dealership to see if this can be extended, but I think there is a cost involved now (used to be free) As another side note, if you are using Google maps through the smartphone interface (apple car play/andriod auto) the maps will only display on the main screen and not on the virtual cockpit.
It shows on quattro 7
Similar principle on the A5/A6/A7 etc MMI.
My dream car❤❤❤
does this come with Wireless Apple CarPlay?
Hi, depends on the age of the firmware in the car. I think post my 2021 vehicle came with wireless Apple CarPlay. Hope that helps
It’s amazing how your video is 2 years old and it’s still helping ppl out to this day! Myself included! Great video, cheers for your help. 👍🏻

Hello, I have a question, maybe it's silly, but is there a fuel filter in this model new A1? If yes, where exactly in the vehicle, thanks.
Hi, the honest answer is I don’t actually know. I’d assume so but some newer cars don’t actually use a filter. Might be a question for your local Audi dealership but looking on sites like GSF, there isn’t a fuel filter listed
