      @hergreenspace 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Crispy and yellowish leaves in Radermachera, can be caused by several factors. Here are some common reasons: Underwatering, low humidity, incorrect light(it needs bright indirect light), nutrient Deficiency and Temperature stress ( like too cold or too hot) To address these issues, ensure the plant is watered appropriately, has good drainage, is placed in a location with suitable light and humidity, and is protected from pests and extreme temperatures. Regularly check the plant for signs of stress and adjust care practices as needed. Also check your watering schedule

    Hey! My philodendron ceylon is in bad condition but alive. Could you give me some tips to revive it back to its normalcy?

    • @hergreenspace
      @hergreenspace 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, "Don't worry! If your Philodendron Ceylon is still alive, you can definitely bring it back to health. Here are some steps to revive it: ✅ Check the roots - If the plant is wilting or yellowing, gently take it out of the pot and inspect the roots. Trim any mushy or black roots and repot in fresh, well-draining soil. Don't keep it in very big pot. Pot size should be according to size of the roots. ✅ Adjust watering - If the soil is too wet, let it dry out before watering again. If it's bone dry, give it a deep watering. Always check the top 1-2 inches of soil before watering. ✅ Improve lighting - Place it in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct harsh sunlight, but don’t keep it in a dark corner either. ✅ Boost humidity - If the leaves are crispy or curling, mist the plant lightly or place a humidity tray nearby. ✅ Feed it lightly - Once it's stable, give a weak liquid fertilizer every few weeks to encourage growth. ✅ Check for pests - Look under the leaves for spider mites, mealybugs, or thrips. If you find any, wipe the leaves with neem oil solution. 💚 With some patience, your Philodendron Ceylon will bounce back! Keep me updated on its progress. 😊"

    Totally false info We don't pinch rubber plant We chop or prune them

    • @hergreenspace
      @hergreenspace 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, pinching the apical bud (growing tip) of a rubber plant (Ficus elastica) will encourage bushier growth. When you remove the apical bud, the plant's natural auxin distribution changes, stimulating the growth of lateral branches from the nodes below the cut. However, rubber plants tend to grow upright and may not branch out dramatically with just a single pinch. If you want a fuller look, you may need to: 1. Pinch multiple times - Once new branches grow, you can pinch their tips too. 2. Use notching - Slightly cut into the stem above a node to encourage side shoots. 3. Provide good light - Bright, indirect light helps with healthy branching. 4. Rotate the plant - Ensures even growth from all sides. I hope you get this info correct and not false.

      @@hergreenspace here in this video You have only shown pinching of rubber plant, but pinching alone won't work unless you are notching the stem It will stop growing If you pinch the plant without notching

    does the vermicompost not count as soil? and where can we buy orchid bark and perlite, do you know any good sellers on amazon for these?

    • @hergreenspace
      @hergreenspace 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi good question.... but Vermicompost is not considered soil. It's an organic material produced by the decomposition of biodegradable waste through earthworms. While it's nutrient-rich and excellent for improving soil fertility, texture, and aeration, it lacks the mineral content and structural characteristics of soil. In gardening, vermicompost is often used as a soil amendment or mixed with other components like potting soil, sand, perlite, or cocopeat to create a balanced growing medium. It enhances the nutrient profile of the mix but doesn’t replace soil entirely. Most of the time I buy perlite and orchid bark from amazon. Casa de amor is good brand for perlite and other gardening needs. It's perlite is not powdery and good in quality in comparison to other sellers. But it's little expensive from others. And for orchid bark KOO Retails Pine Bark Chips for... www.amazon.in/dp/B08NFF23VW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

      You can use this mix for outdoor plants also. But if you you are keeping plants out in sun you can add coco peat or coco coir to the mix for water retention. So that you don't need to water it frequently as the evaporation rate is higher outside.

      Seaweed solution is easily available on amazon or other online stores as well as in offline stores where plants are selled. For peace lily > we can give it variety of organic fertilizer like vermicompost, compost tea, mustard liquid fertilizer. If you use chemical fertilizer you can also use them like NPK 19-19-19 etc. And for the soil mix you can watch peace lily videos on my channel. If you want a proper soil mix or soil less mix pls comment.

      Please kindly help me out, I just re potted my peace lily to a slightly bigger pot yesterday, and this morning I found that the leaves were drooping, they look weak and sad, what could be the problem? It's my first peace lily😢

    • @hergreenspace
      @hergreenspace 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @gaonepauladikobe2368 hi pls check the soil of peace lily...drooping leaves in peace is mainly because of underwatering or improper watering. Did you watered it properly after repotting. If the soil is moist then the next cause could be that plant is in shock aftter repotting... keep it in a place where it gets bright light and not the direct sun... let it recover from shock for few days.. it may take few weeks to recover it. Just keep the watering and light in check...do not disturb it for some days. Pls add 1teaspn of epsom salt in next watering to help it recover from shock and also don't overwater it. I hope this helps you.

    How long u keep that plastic on ? Like mine rotted

    • @hergreenspace
      @hergreenspace หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry to hear that your propagation rotted but try again hopefully you get success this time. Keep the plastic cover on until you notice: New growth or tiny leaves emerging. The leaves are firm and not wilting, which indicates successful rooting. This may take around 3-6 weeks, depending on humidity and temperature. Remove the plastic briefly every few days to allow air exchange and prevent mold or rot. Ensure the potting mix stays lightly moist but not soggy. Gradually remove the plastic by increasing the time it stays off each day to acclimate the plant to lower humidity. Once it is growing steadily, you can completely remove the plastic.

    One of my aglanema gas brown spots. How to treat it?

    • @hergreenspace
      @hergreenspace 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Brown spots on your Aglaonema could be caused by various factors. Here's how to identify the issue and address it: Possible Causes: 1. Overwatering or Root Rot Symptoms: Soft brown spots, yellowing leaves, or wilting. Solution: Check the roots. If they are mushy and smell bad, trim the rotten parts and repot the plant in fresh, well-draining soil. Water only when the top 2 inches of soil feel dry. 2. Underwatering Symptoms: Dry, crispy brown spots on leaves. Solution: Ensure the soil is consistently moist but not soggy. Water the plant thoroughly and let excess water drain out. 3. Low Humidity Symptoms: Brown tips or edges on the leaves. Solution: Increase humidity by misting, using a pebble tray, or placing the plant near a humidifier. 4. Pest Infestation Symptoms: Tiny brown spots, yellowing leaves, or visible pests like spider mites, mealybugs, or scale. Solution: Inspect the plant closely. Wipe leaves with a cotton swab dipped in diluted neem oil or insecticidal soap. 5. Fungal or Bacterial Infection Symptoms: Irregular-shaped brown spots with yellow halos. Solution: Remove affected leaves and improve air circulation. Use a fungicide or antibacterial spray. 6. Sunburn Symptoms: Brown patches on leaves exposed to direct sunlight. Solution: Move the plant to bright, indirect light. Aglaonemas prefer shade or filtered light. 7. Nutrient Deficiency Symptoms: Browning alongside yellowing or pale leaves. Solution: Feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season. Treatment Steps: 1. Diagnose the cause based on the symptoms. 2. Remove affected leaves with sterilized scissors to prevent spreading. 3. Adjust care as needed: improve watering, light, humidity, or pest control. 4. Monitor the plant over time and repeat treatments if necessary. Let me know if you need help with further diagnosis!

    PROTIP😢 : Remember to wash the solution off your plant after 1 hour, or it will get hurt and drop its leaves.
