Thought this place closed last year

We were just there Thursday and had the liver and onions with mashed potatoes and green beans and it was the best liver and onions I've ever had❤

He definitely gives of the Seinfeld "Soup Guy" vibe, but the food is amazing.

Went years ago when my boys were younger, food was excellent, customer service was horrible. Never went back, just didn't want my money going to people like that. I don't expect top notch service, but please do treat people better, "common courtesy" goes along way.

Seems customer service is exact opposite of Luigi's

🤣 Yea, the main guy isn't the friendliest but the food (pizza & gyros) is BOMB! 😋 Like another commenter said, I think it's a cultural thing. The place is CLEAAAAN and the food is delicious so I can over look it. I highly recommend this place but if you wear your heart on your sleeve or get bothered easily b/c you didn't get a hello or a smile, you probably won't enjoy the food as much. Lol! The several times I've went, the main guy was on the phone the whole time and only acknowledged me to take my order. He gives me a quiet new yorker vibe, which is something most SE Texans aren't used to but I find kinda comical. If you can overlook the stand-offish personality and appreciate the effort in cleanliness and quality ingredients, the food is totally worth it. It's been worth the drive from Beaumont every single time for me.💙

We go all the time. They are friendly once they get to know you. It must be a culture thing, maybe they are stand-offish to people they haven't met before. They have probably the best food in Lumberton. The gyros and fries great, but there are actually even better things on the menu. We have been getting the Philly Cheesesteak lately of all things believe it or not. It is fantastic!! Also, I always get the Greek Salad. That is fantastic as well. The Greek Sampler is awesome too, with the different types of sauces and Hummus. The pizza is fantastic. The pastas they have are really good as well. I wish it got more business, they deserve it. They know what they are doing!

If the owner or manager was rude to me, then I wouldn't bother recording or editing the video, or posting the video too promote them.

Second, dude needs to be nicer to people. Probably why place is always empty.

If you did Leslie's in BC, you MUST include Scratch Kitchen in Bridge City, 1575 Texas Avenue newer place, awesome food, much is made from Scratch!! Has gotten very popular, and we eat there often!!! Frequented by the Police and Fire Dept!!!

I live in Htx and work in golden triangle a lot. I love going to those Viet wings and seafood places. Their salt pepper chicken is one of the best hidden gems

I've been there before in the middle of Trump country😂 but Rodgers is pretty decent the potato with 3 meats is phenomenal but I didn't like the BBQ sauce its too watery for my liking, the burgers were good as well. Edit: I've ate the whole potato and a burger before 🤣😂 I'm not fat dammit, ok ok maybe I am..

Yep, I'll be there very soon for that jalapeno popper burger also I need a double patty LOL and a damn good craft beer, I miss places like this being I'm from Dallas and I used to go to this place called brain dead brewing.

The SLICED brisket is the standard thatI I rate every bbq joint I try. I tried this place some time ago. Got 1/2 lb pound of sliced brisket to go. Turned down Aggie Dr. and pulled over to taste it. Was like shoe leather!! Threw it out so the varments would have something to eat. Never again. Tender brisket does not need sauce, it's optional as a dip. Let the criticism begin !! There are so many other good bbq joints in this area. You get what you pay for.

I tried them several years ago, right after they became well-known. The truck was at a fair in League City I believe. I really did not like it, but judging by the line, they must have improved since then.

Enjoyed the video. Good to see Roger and the BBQ Barn. Been there. Great food & tasty BBQ sauce.
