A Great Short Walk, with a difference.
It's a boat ride in on the Ida St Clair water taxi, to the official start of the walk at Echo Point Hut, located on beautiful Lake St Clair. Then we camped the night on the beach, just because we could. Followed by the actual day walk out on Day 2 back to Cynthia Bay, along the shoreline of Lake St Clair.
As we enjoyed Echo Point that so much, that we came back for another crack at it many months later, but via a Kayak overnight trip.
It's absolutely beautiful part of Tassie & Cradle Mountain National Park.
