Welcome to Part 2 of our family travel series in South Africa! This episode is packed with heartwarming reunions, exciting wildlife encounters, and some truly unforgettable adventures.
We start the day with a visit to the historic Robben Island, where we explore the site that played a significant role in South Africa’s history. Then, it’s off to Mossel Bay for a surprise reunion with an old friend-what a special moment!
Next up is a visit to an Ostrich Safari Farm, where we get up close with these magnificent birds. The kids had a blast learning about them and even getting to feed a few. After that, we slow things down with some family fun at Redberry Farm, picking fresh strawberries under the warm South African sun.
One of the highlights of this leg of the journey is a trip to Boulders Beach, where we meet the famous African penguins. Watching them waddle along the beach was pure magic! But the surprises keep coming as we bump into old friends Tim and Penny, making the day even more special.
To wrap things up, we head to the iconic Table Mountain, taking in breathtaking views of Cape Town and beyond from the top. It’s the perfect way to end another action-packed day of adventure.
