He definitely didn’t get surgery. If you didn’t know (onew mentioned it) but when you work out you actually lose weight in your face as well. Also not every Asian person has monolids and from looking at pictures it seems like he used makeup to give him a crease look and also contacts. There are some contacts out there (usually used by cosplayers) which can make your eyes look natural bigger.

I choose to write down my feeling here in this video, after more than a year now. Becoz this video is all i want to remember about you : funny, savage, straightforward, and honest. I first know you and Shinee when in was in 3rd grade in university. You debut with Replay, but it didn't really caught my attention until Lucifer, i was too busy with your sunbae that time, Super Junior. Oh btw, i'm SM stan, so i know that sooner or later, i'll catch on you guys.. So i started to pay attention to you since Lucifer, and i love you more when u gave an honour to City Hunter to sing the OST, So Goodbye ( which later on Dec 18, 2017 , 4 days after me and Onew's birthday make me cry hard when i listen to it ) . Oh, and by the way again, that song still in my PC and my cellphone until now, and forever i guess. To shorten the story, i graduated university and started to face the real life. I got a job, and life is not about crazy fangirling on youtube anymore. I grew up to a phase in life called ADULT, where i have more responsibility than before. But i still love you. Still catch a time to check on you : new song, new variety show, and some other news.. I believe that we live our own life well. I enjoy my life watching over you some times, knowing that you too, are growing up well. And maybe, in some certain phase of life when we become older, you're not gonna be on TV or internet as often as before, and i'm not gonna looking around about you anymore. But i hope one day i'm gonna hear news about "Kim Jonghyun Shinee , and idol turned music producer is going to be married". And i'm gonna tell my 1 year old son then, 'this is mummy's idol'. So we both live a happy life, an idol and a fan.. in our own reality. But i'm so sad that my picture of happiness for both of us , are not a picture that you want to draw.. I'm so sad for that Jonghyun ah.. I just hope that wherever you are now, you're happy. And still savage, straightforward, funny, and honest.. like in this video.. And when i have a son, i'm gonna tell him about you, about a beautiful person i once know named Kim Jonghyun..

Honestly why would he get anything done? His face was just awe...full of charisma and cuteness! How can one human being have so much charisma? In my eyes no one can beat his whole package. That smile, those cheeks! If anything he is older now and he lost a lot of weight but still so loveable!

There's a difference between plastic surgery and make up. His last Instagram updates show his face without make up which looks exactly like he did from the beginning. The only difference is that he lost too much weight and used more make up than before. The facial features are the same.
